The atmosphere is very welcoming and calm. All of the braiders are very polite and treat all customers with respect. Madeline braided my granddaughter's hair. She checked with me during the entire session to ensure we were pleased with the size and style of braids. I recommend this place 100%. Aicha is also very pleasant and customer service oriented. Thank you Beĺles Tresses! We loved our experience ❤️
I have been looking for a new salon for hair braiding and have tried a few others in the area with less than desired results. However, my experience with Belles Tresses was everything I had been looking for and beyond. I was able to schedule an appointment online and received a confirmation of my appointment as well as a reminder. Once I arrived, the level of professionalism Fatima and everyone in the shop exuded was the first thing that stood out - they have a high bar for customer service which I really appreciated. Surprisingly, the impressive environment experience was outweighed by the quality of the braiding and attention to detail. The stylist asked how I wanted everything upfront (I got medium knotless box braids, in 1B with curls at the end), even including where I wanted my part. I have never had an experience with braids where I got exactly what I asked for until now. I can't say enough good things about this shop! If you need braids done and haven't stopped by this place, you should - you're missing out!
Amazing long knotless braids! My usual hair braider cancelled on me so I was scouting the internet to find someone in my area! That’s when I decided to take a chance with these amazing ladies! I booked an appointment for the day after and I got a text confirming it. Yes, the salon is in the basement and it had been ages since I’ve been in one. The atmosphere reminded me of salon’s in my home country, Uganda, which only added to the experience! Everyone was so kind and Fatima even offered me a pizza slice (which I secretly enjoyed after politely declining). My birthday was the next day and Rose, who braided my hair, conversed with me and engaged me from time to time, which was nice as well! Thank you so much y’all🫶🏾 (You can bring your own braiding hair as well, they also don’t have French curl braids so that’s that). I will be back! This is my new spot🤞🏾
It was super hard finding someone that would braid short hair, but Fatima agreed to do it for me less than a week in advance. Today was my first time getting knotless braids, and I was nervous. However, the moment I sat in the chair, I was completely fine. I was in shock at how fast she was moving while being able to catch my hair. I was there for about 6 hours, but I truly enjoyed it. They all made me feel comfortable and engaged in great conversation. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their hair braided. Fatima was SO professional and NICE. I had a fantastic experience getting my hair braided!
This was my first time getting my hair braided. From my first interaction she was professional, answered all my questions. The young lady that braided my hair did an excellent job. The atmosphere was great, we were jamming and laughing. I definitely be back
