Wonderful service, was nice to sit and chat with the nice lady in front. All the cooks took the time to wave and say hello as well. Everything we ordered came very quickly and was so good. I cant wait to come here again very easy to find and parking was simple.
Customer service was good but quality of food not good. I ordered 2pc fish w/ Mac n cheese and greens. The greens were gritty and I really don’t like really big pieces of fish and they were huge they were too fishy like they didn’t clean it good and the Mac was salty.
Love this place!!!! Highly recommend! My hubby loves the smothered pork chop with black eyed peas and greens with an additional side of Mac, my personal favorite is the fried catfish with brown beans and cabbage! You’ll never be disappointed! Made to order too. I never get any pictures cause it’s always gone by the time I think about taking them !
i drove allllllll the way from Harry and Greenwich to try this place. I will absolutely be doing that frequently! Omg the fish was SO good.. greens were AMAZING!! I haven’t tasted yams that good since my Aunt in Ohio! Illlll be back (in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)
I don't usually leave reviews like this but for the quality, & quantity of the food these prices are outrageous. I LOVE supporting black businesses but with these prices, & quantity, & quality it's getting a little hard.... & not to add for the prices of the sides- the Mac and cheese and cabbage had a WEIRD taste. Almost like everything was cooked in some type of meat broth... bacon greese for the cabbage is good!
