The food/drink quality and atmosphere are the reasons why we will be returning to Waters Edge Winery & Bistro! The hostesses/servers ensured we were happy and gave us useful information about what Etown has to offer. Definitely try the sangria flight, the flatbread, as well as the chicken parm. The owner went out of his way to ensure that we were taken care of by treating us to the appetizer depicted below while we waited for our food. We got to eat the best scalloped potatoes, freshly made! Overall a very clean and professional establishment to relax and enjoy your meal.
We finally made it!!! Such a cute place. They practice social distancing seating. The wine tasting is $10 pp and we had the waitress choose our selections. She did very well. The menu offered a good mixture of price ranges. A great spot to have parties. There were 3 different ones ranging from a baby shower to birthday parties. The staff is very attentive to ensure you are served! Awesome place. We will be back👌🏾
Currently here for our 1pm reservation on Mother's day and still waiting for food for one of our party of 8. It's 2:53. For an establishment to be reservations only for the day with a VERY limited menu --everything was some combination of french toast, bacon or sausage, and eggs except blackend shrimp salad which was advertised as "mixed greens, cucumbers, onion, pepper, tomatoes, mozzarella, and blackened shrimp" but came our as a basic iceburg lettuce mix with a few tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese and two half slices of cucumber, this was an absolute disaster. I WILL add that upon my request the server brought out some onions, peppers and cucumbers in a separate bowl. Two of the other orders came out incorrectly, and we had to bogart syrup from an empty table. The kicker is that the restaurant wasn't even full. The table of two behind us left before their food came. I've heard two servers be berated for the terrible service that is entirely management's fault. They set their staff up for failure and I wouldn't be surprised if the service staff quits after today. Update: The server did offer us a discount and comp'd one of the salads. Unfortunately, the other salad was charged at $15, when the menu clearly showed 12.
The place was appealing to the eye. Stopped in for some wine tasting as we were just passing through the town . Was disappointed that their wine selection was minimal due to being out of some the wines . The young lady who helped us was nice and seemed to be new.
We had a 30-person birthday event here and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Charlie was really easy to work with scheduling the event and making sure all our needs were met. The entire staff was accommodating, pleasant and efficient. The venue itself was clean, well taken care of and provided a great relaxing, laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend Waters Edge.
