The catfish was killer, greens were juicy and delicious, the mac n cheese was perfectly cheesy and not watery, and the cornbread is to die for. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t checked this place out yet. The prices are fair given inflation and whatnot, and they also have some delicious cake slices for dessert; I’d recommend the lemon. Alongside their great food, there’s also a fairly spacious dining area with well over 10 small tables, perfect for popping in to eat with some friends and then dip. Very cleanly too. Overall, MiMi’s is some of the best food Lexington has to offer, go and support a friendly local business!

Closest thing you can get to Granny's and Auntie's and Mama's Sunday meals after Church on Sundays this side of the Kentucky River!! Nice selection of food on the menu , if you never had any Soul Food I encourage you to go get some Mimi's. ❤️

I went to Mimi’s for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The service was super friendly and they had a variety of main dish and side options. Sometimes when food is in a buffet setting it gets cold but our dishes were hot and fresh. We had smothered porkchop and the gravy was nice and thick. I LOVED the cornbread. I am not the only one because while we were there a lady came in and ordered a dozen. They had a steady stream of people coming in and the staff worked quick to keep up.

We were passing through Kentucky headed for Tennessee and getting hungry. I went to maps and typed in "Southern comfort food" and was not disappointed. Soo good, especially loved the corn pudding.

Amazing food! The cornbread is the best I have ever had- hands down. The smothered pork chop was off the chain! Mac and cheese was smooth and creamy and the greens were awesome. Will have to make this a regular stop!
