Last night was my first time at the Lyric after living here for almost 30 years. It's an awesome theatre with just good space. But then when you go out to a blues celebration for the likes of MR. Tee Dee Young, it will be a fantastic evening guaranteed!
HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME AT THE BABY EVENT ON SUNDAY THE 11TH!!
We have only visited one time to see An R Rated Magic Show but the theater was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There are multiple lots nearby the theater to park in but once those get full, it seems you will need to find street parking. There were a lot of people in attendance on the night of our visit so this resulted in a large line for the women's facilities as they only have two toilets so be prepared for that. The only other thing we could say could have been improved on this night was the fact that they advertised popcorn but weren't selling any. Everyone was complaining about no popcorn 🍿
The Lyric is under a new Executive Director who has transformed it into a true community center with rich history, art, and amazing events. I have participated in several events and have truly enjoyed myself.
FIVE STAR GROUP playing in an intimate setting! Sam Bush and his band! And they really appreciated performing in an air-conditioned theatre!
