Went for lunch on a Saturday. I ordered garlic parmesan wings (pictured) and a side Caesar salad. My friend ordered hot wings and garlic parmesan wings and a side garden salad. I don't know why the wings had a creamy sauce on them. The wings were cooked perfectly, but the sauce ruined them. The sauce did not taste like garlic or parmesan. The hot wing sauce was also not good. The salad dressings were weird. The blue cheese tasted like sour cream, and the Caesar had a tangy taste. Someone is experimenting with dressings back there.
Very disappointing experience. One member of the party got a roast beef sandwich which she enjoyed, however I and the third member of our party were highly disappointed by our meals. He got the open face hot turkey sandwich, but he found that around a third of the turkey was overcooked and inedible. I got an impossible burger, which was also overcooked. I don’t believe that the sauce that was supposed to be on the burger was on there, and I never received the sauce on the side I requested. Our server Peter was very inattentive, and we were not informed until after the meal that he was the only server working. They tried to excuse it by explaining they had a party of 50 outside, but when we arrived the only people other than those at the bar were a party of 2 at a table near us. This party seemed to be friendly with the staff and received better service. When our server asked us how our meals were, we explained our dissatisfaction and he only laughed it off. The fact that we waited over a half hour for mediocre food and received subpar service definitely means we will not be visiting here again.
The turkey club and chicken salad are mostly amazing. I was supposed to have the food delivered to my car recently. I guess they forgot about me? After 5 minutes of waiting... I went inside and saw my food just sitting there. No apologies at all. The bread wasn't toasted so, the meal was soggy pretty fast. UGH!
Never been inside, so this review is just for the food. Ordered shepherds pie, Tex-mex salad, buffalo chicken cheesesteak, Irish rolls and beef barley soup. Only shepherds pie was somewhat edible. Both grilled chicken on the salad and chicken cheesesteak gave me the feeling I was eating a steak full of nerves (you can’t chew it at all). Soup tasted horrible. I had a bite from the Irish rolls and that was enough already.
I enjoyed breakfast here with my Father in Law on a quiet Thursday morning, the crowd was light and the pub was nice and clean. I ordered the 2 egg with Bacon breakfast which includes toast and fried potatoes and for $8 I t thought it was a bargain. The service was good and prompt, I ordered my eggs over medium and the one egg was cooked perfectly the other was overcooked which I thought was strange as they were attached of course, perhaps a hotspot on the griddle. The bacon was good and the potatoes were excellent, in all an excellent experience, if I lived in the area I would certainly be coming by here on occasion.
