Service: OUTSTANDING. Brook made my 1st time here enjoyable. She was very personable and sweet. Music was on point. So atmosphere was very nice. Now for food… Mimosas were warm and not chilled at all. They put gravy on everything. Shrimp and grits- I need the chef to call me…. Not good. Grits were cold and hard. Gravy was awful. Taste like flour with Cajun seasoning thrown on top. Shrimp over cooked and not fresh but frozen. I sub for lamp chops. They were good but why put gravy on it? It needed something acidic. I asked for eggs scrambled soft with cheese. I got hard eggs with cheese thrown on top. Not worth the 84.53 price tag at all. I know way better Brunch spots that are less than 50 and the food is way better prepared. Call me I’ll help you!
Melissa is a phenomenal waitress; she has a down to earth personality, made solid food and drink recommendations, very patient and constantly checked on our table to make sure we were having a great time. The food had so much flavor, the blueberry mule was made with love. We will definitely be back again !
3.7 stars Creole on 14th was a good meal. Restaurant was decently clean minus the bathroom, and server was attentive but not overly helpful. Everything comes with included 20% gratuity charge which I don't think my server was 20% good, but it's DC and folks gotta live. With that said, the food came out quickly. We had jambalaya, shrimp and grits, salmon, and catfish. Portions were large. Jambalaya was over salted or over seasoned, can't put my finger on it. Salmon and veggies were good, shrimp and grits were smothered in sauce, and catfish was enjoyable. Drinks were ok but sweet.
Went here for Valentines Day, and it was nice. The food and service were great! With the exception, they forgot to bring out my mac n cheese, and I had to wait a while. Made reservations and was able to be seated right away. Our waiter did a great job with service. The kitchen was a little slow or busy, but everything we ordered was good and very plentiful. Will definitely be returning for brunch and to eat outdoors. 10/10
Creole on the 14th is the truth.. Great atmosphere, food and service. I stopped by on Saturday afternoon and brunch was still being served around 2 pm. The place was jumping with music and everyone in the place was enjoying themselves. I had a great time and so will you.
