I went to visit Sweet Soulfood. I must say, this has to be the best vegan food I've had. I got the pick 4 with sweet heat cauliflower, mac and cheese, greens+cabbage, and sweet potato. Every this good. I will definitely return to try the cornbread. If you are in New Orleans, this place is a must to try.

The temp was about 72°F inside which was not unbearable but it could have been a little cooler. Aside from that everything I tried was great. I had greens, Mac & Cheese, yams, Shepard pie, fried vegan rice, jumbalya and okra gumbo with a strawberry lemonade drink. I got a side of fried mushrooms to go also. All were very healthy portions!! It's a cafeteria style service with food served in to-go containers. There is not not a whole lot of seating room so you better get there early if you want to dine in as this is a very popular place. It was full upon arrival and remained consistent even after I was leaving the parking lot. The staff at Sweet Soulfood is very nice and will engage you in conversation with a "bebe" at the end of their greeting! Anybody that patronizes this place will feel like they are at a home of their own which happens to be in New Orleans!

Our first time here, visiting from Atlanta. This place is awesome. Everything we had was delicious. The vegan gumbo was the best we had since we arrived 4 days ago. MUST TRY!!

This was my first time here, and I must say the Mac and cheese was quite tasty, and the orange cauliflower was enjoyable. I liked the crispy coating of the cauliflower. The jambalaya was ok. I didn't care too much for the bread pudding. I had enough food to share as well. If you haven't gone here, I recommend you give them a try.

Huge portions, amazing flavors, if you're vegan visiting NOLA you must come here. And everyone is so friendly and nice. I got orange cauliflower, collard greens, eggplant lasagna, and bread pudding. It's all to die for! You must try the bread pudding it's amazing
