My husband and I had our wedding at 718 Venue in December. Everything was perfect, and that’s not an exaggeration. 718 Venue is a unique, gorgeously-maintained, charming space located in the very heart of downtown Fredericksburg — how could you not love it? It was an excellent fit for our wedding because it allowed our once-in-a-lifetime event to have the perfect balance between being intimate, elegantly romantic, and adorably quaint. My bridesmaids and I also stayed in The Gallery (the rentable Airbnb space above 718 Venue) the night before. It was just lovely. And the lighting for pictures while getting ready on the morning of was the stuff of dreams. Not only is the space beautiful, but the owner of 718 Venue, Beth Black, is one of the most talented and brilliant professionals I’ve ever met. We dealt with Beth exclusively through our booking and planning process, and she was exactly what you would hope for in a venue owner/coordinator. She has so much experience, and her knowledge and confidence were so encouraging and comforting. She went above and beyond to help transform our vision into reality — seamlessly working with our other vendors behind the scenes on the day of to ensure everything happened as planned. Our wedding at the 718 Venue was amazing. Beth and her crew made the day enjoyable for all including us. The beautiful venue was the perfect size and back drop for a wedding. Beth did a great job communicating and working with other area business to make our day run smoothly including using the nearby The Ponshop courtyard for our cocktail hour! We would recommend this venue for all events!
What a perfect wedding venue right in the middle of downtown Fredericksburg! I photographed a wedding here last year, and absolutely loved the space. The bridal suite upstairs is so pretty for getting ready photos, and I know my clients loved that they were able to stay overnight there. The venue itself is stunning as well, with beautiful hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. And it’s in the perfect location to explore the rest of Fredericksburg for wedding portraits! Can’t recommend this place enough.
We had our ceremony and reception here on 2/5/2022. This venue was absolutely PERFECT for us. Beth Black (co-owner) was very easy to contact, extremely knowledgeable, and super nice! The venue itself is gorgeous so we barely had to decorate, which was exactly what I wanted. We were able to bring an outside caterer in, and Beth/the venue facilitated it perfectly. They also facilitated the changeover after the ceremony, and it went on without a hitch. This venue is also very affordable. We opted to rent the AirBnB above the venue for the night before and after, which was also PERFECT. It was high end, comfortable, convenient, and just absolutely beautiful. The day could not have gone more smoothly or have been more beautiful. This is all thanks to Beth Black and her lovely venue. Can't recommend this place highly enough!!!!
Went to a wedding there, beautiful place,clean ,very friendly staff. Great place for small gatherings right in downtown Fredericksburg!
