I really wanted to give a 5 star all the way around. I didn't because their menu and website say they serve brunch. They don't anymore. We ate here on a Friday night and had a 30-minute wait. Not bad for a Friday. The first time ever here, the view is awesome. The service and food was awesome. I had Red Beans and Rice. It had the perfect amount of heat. My husband had a platter with a bowl of mustard greens. He said his was perfect. If you like greens, I suggest you try them. They are the best we have ever had. Perfect amount of heat. We went back Saturday with the family because we all wanted brunch. We were very disappointed when we found out they didn't serve brunch. The food Saturday was just as good as Friday. I highly recommend this place.
I was traveling through with my dog and looking for somewhere with outside seating. Orlandeaux's had some picnic tables outside, and it was a beautiful, warm day. The hostess and waitress at the bar were very nice. The food was delicious! I enjoyed watching some of the wildlife and boat traffic during my meal and got to walk down the small dock and the lawn to relax after indulging in dessert.
Absolutely love the food at this restaurant. Every dish I’ve tried, I’ve enjoyed. I’ve also brought colleagues here and they love it. Food is always hot and well seasoned and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Reminds me of good home cooking food. Trust you won’t be disappointed! Waiters and bartenders are awesome as well. They have great Cajun/r&b music playing and their main dining room overlooks a river. It’s beautiful! My only suggestion is to have a bathroom attendant or have bathroom cleanliness checks throughout the day. Every time I’ve used their restroom, it has not been a good experience. It smells and it’s usually dirty. I honestly think adding bathroom checks to their daily routine would fix this—otherwise the service, food and restaurant vibe is on point!
LOVED IT!! We were on our way to Texas and made a stop in Louisana just for food, and this place didn't disappoint! Great food, had the gator, gumbo, shrimp po boy, and more! Our waitress was amazing! And the rest of the staff too! Loved the location, right on the water, felt like at home cookin! Thank you for such great food and service. we can't wait to come back!
I am in a long distance relationship and my boyfriend lives in Shreveport. Every time I fly to Louisiana he knows that I HAVE to eat there. The view and atmosphere are both amazing. The restaurant is literally right by Cross Lake and you can enjoy the view while you eat. The service is fast and friendly, and most of all the food is the best seafood I've had. You MUST try the stuffed shrimp. Please visit when you're in Shreveport, you definitely won't regret it!!!
