I ordered the red fish with fries. I think it was sweet Thai chili sauce ok the fish it wasn't a great pairing. The fries were good and I didn't like the biscuit was grilled. The waiter was nice, just not as attentive as he should've been. He was busy signing karaoke and dancing that he forgot to bring the rest of my parents food. They reminded him one time, he said he was going and still didn't get it. The chef came to our table to ask about the food and they told him not to worry about the rest of the food, we were already done with the meal. The restaurant didn't have that many people inside during that time. I do like how they had karaoke. I don't know who the young lady is in the video but I really enjoyed her. I hope she keeps singing!
We stopped in for lunch. I had the shrimp and grits with a small bowl of red beans and rice to share. We also ordered the chicken & French toast, chicken plate and a shrimp po-boy with sweet potato fries. Everything we had was delicious and the staff was great! Stumbled across this place looking for Cajun food. The atmosphere is relaxed and the employees were great. We got the gumbo special which my husband loved and I got a po boy hamburger. The menu is a bit pricey which is the reason for my dish choice. Although it was just a burger it tasted amazing and not like any other I’ve had. Seasoned beautifully as well as the fries! I would definitely come back one day. Only thing I would suggest is to give the bread a little something. Toast it, butter it, anything
Man this food was amazing!! I had the special of the day which consisted of white beans and rice with a beef sausage and a choice of protein I had the fried catfish. The fish was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Also Terri took care of us while we were there. She had excellent recommendations she recommended the Seafood Egg rolls. Which were great. Terri also recommend the Bread pudding with a rum sauce which was great. I highly recommend this spot if you are in New Orleans it’s a must stop.
I've been to NOLA 4x and without a doubt, the best breakfast ever! Where else can you have breakfast then someone starts singing and the whole restaurant is having a good time😲🥰I'm so glad we walked in!
