Every member of the staff makes you feel at home. Everyone checks in to ensure you’re enjoying your food. We arrived as soon as they opened at 11:00am on a Friday. Every table was filled by 11:15am so it seems to be a popular place. A decent mix of tourist and locals. Food is 10/10 in taste and portion. prices are reasonable.
Simply amazing!!! Me and my wife visited this awesome restaurant for our anniversary and it is nothing short of outstanding!! The chicken is so juicy and delicious!! The yams taste like sweet pillows!! Please believe I'm coming back whenever I visit New Orleans!!
What a great surprise in a place that has so many! Dizzys was BY FAR the best gumbo I've ever had. I've had it everywhere in NOLA and this one is the best. The chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked and the atmosphere and staff just made it even better. Do not miss this place.
The catfish platter with mac and cheese & collard greens was some of the tastiest food I’ve ever had. The owner kindly welcomed us in immediately as we entered, the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend
Visiting from DC today & I must say. Everything was beyond amazing. The gumbo was so rich and authentic, the fried chicken… listen the fried chicken was the real finger licking good, we had one side of everything AMAZING! Let’s talk about the staff… THE BEST! Friendly, welcoming & was willing to go above and beyond. I loved it. I’ll rate this place 56655 stars, but only allows 5.
