Made a quick stop before the game and the artichoke dip was wonderful. Unfortunately the fried fish had a questionable skin that made it impossible to eat. Great atmosphere! Great drinks! It’s worth the drive (just avoid the fish).
Had a wonderful dinner here on a Thursday with live music. I ordered the baked catfish with veggies and then their bread pudding for dessert and both were amazing! The whole atmosphere was just wonderful!
I definitely didn't like eggs cold with cold mushroom sauce and a cold biscuit. I can explain it best with phrase (plate was forgotten to be placed in microwave before serving). I understand why it's crowded. Drinking and music was awesome. Don't bring an appetite! Be ready to party.
My husband and I were in Beaux Bridge for the terrific Cycle Zydeco. Several evenings, we along with friends had wonderful meals at Buck and Johnny’s. One night, I had the gumbo with shrimp and another time ordered the Zydeco gumbo. Both were delicious. The live bands were also fun and enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant.
When advertising yourself as "eclectic Italian" you'd better deliver. But unfortunately did not. I wanted to try simple Italian dish....meatsauce over pasta, 2 added meatballs. Sauce was rather sour with an almost spoiled milk taste. Meatballs were dry, plain, very ordinary. Not very appealing to the pallet. And please, bring dinner salad before main course is served. Not at the same time. I want to enjoy my salad first, prior to my main dish arriving at my table. But I noticed this is customary practice here, as I was not the only table with salad and main course delivered at the same time.
