Celebrated my husbands 40th birthday at Blanc and Brick. They did such a great job that I booked for a “celebration of life” reception. Everything is always tastefully done and the customer service is A+. Theresa handles everything with such grace and class. I can’t thank them enough.
This was such a charming location to host our 30-year class reunion! Would be great for just about any event! Plenty of room to dance, space for the DJ, an alcove for food to be served, and bathrooms that were clean and with multiple stalls!
Awesome place for an intimate setting. We had our mother's 'Celebration of Life' there, everyone loved it the place. Theresa was very accommodating, she was there the entire time. My sisters and I were very pleased with service, food and set-up. We highly recommend, KUDOS!
I went for an event and it was lovely, clean restrooms, nice space and great for many beautiful events.
I really had high hopes for this venue leading up to my wedding day - mostly because Ms. Theresa made it seem like she would be the A1 assistant to my wedding planners. For the morning of my wedding day, Ms. Theresa was there to setup the venue and make sure the reception area looked up to par. Her and her husband constantly asked me if I needed anything, if I was okay, etc. Perfect. Everything started going downhill when she left for the evening...without me knowing. This was about 3 hours before my wedding start time. A lot of things were still not in order, my wedding planners had asked for simple things SEVERAL times without getting these things from the person Ms. Theresa left in charge. Her attitude was not pleasant, neither were most of the staff. Before the ceremony, my wedding planners asked several times for a table to be setup outside so we could sign our marriage license - pictures included to see if we ever got that table. The ladies were asked several times for a table to set up the groom's cake and wedding favor several times. This wasn't done until during the wedding ceremony. Several of bartenders were rude to my guests. My guests complained of the drinks being watered down and/or not enough alcohol in the drinks. The next day, when I called to express how I felt about the evening and how the staff treated my guests, Ms. Theresa was apologetic, however, she backtracked on the things she promised us which led us to book. She stated that she usually takes a back seat when wedding planners are involved. She also mentioned that her staff mentioned that my guests "drank like fish" and they kept asking for Crown Apple. Crown Apple was and is not included on any of the venue's package lists, however, Ms. Theresa put that out herself because she wanted to. So if my guests preferred Crown Apple, because they were offered that during the event, that's not my problem. When the staff had to replace the Crown Apple, the staff shouldn't have had the attitudes they had. Nevertheless, an apology was extended and that was it. I would recommend the venue based on the services we were promised in the beginning. I would NOT recommend the venue based on the services we received.
