The powdered beignets are the best I ever had, I tried both glazed and powdered but I loved the airy delicate taste of the powdered. I'm not a huge fan of glazed products but I wouldn't turn these down if I was offered them!
The glazed beignets were so good. If planning to visit prepare to wait at least 20 minutes as they are made to order. Also the fresh beignets were hand delivered to my vehicle. Many other pastries, sweet treats to try.
The best bakery on the west bank with lots of fresh delicious options. Their glazed beignets and king cakes are the best! And the staff is always friendly and ready to help.
The glazed beignets melt in your mouth. So fresh, so flaky, and oh so good!!! Like a glazed croissant it was sensational. I highly recommend. Lavon was so amazingly helpful and she made our day! Best beignets in New Orleans hands down!
On 7/1/2023 we purchased a cake for a coworker. The cake shifted and the taste was horrible. It was not like the Antoine cakes we had been getting for years. I called on 3 different occasions and spoke with 3 different ppl and left my information each time for the manager to get back with me. I was promised a call back and that never happened. 1st the lady told me a female manager will be calling me back then she said she’s new and don’t know what’s going on so the guy manager would be giving me a call back. She refuse to give me the names but assured me they will be calling me back. She also mentioned that there was so many complaints from that day and an employee who was no longer employed messed up a lot of cakes. It wasn’t even so much about the money but who wants to spend $60 on cake that’s shifted and tasted horrible. At least a call back would have been professional. After buying cakes from here for years I won’t spend a dime there anymore because I couldn’t even get a call back or an apology knowing y’all employee messed up. Reading through the reviews I can see customer service is not a priority with you guys. After posting on my social media page about my experience there was 2 replies that stuck out to me who said they also had the same experience on that exact day. One guy even mentioned that he put in an order 3 weeks prior they told him his cake would be ready at 4pm on 7/1/23 and it end up being ready at closing time and it still wasn’t the decorations or cake he asked for. He said it pretty much ruined his daughter birthday. The other lady stated she had to call and complaint bc she had the same experience this all was on 7/1/23. So we ended up getting a cake form Walmart and called it a night.
