I loved getting my dress at Urban Set Bride! They had a great selection of dresses at a great price point. The shopping experience was fantastic and the staff made me feel so comfortable trying on wedding dresses. I ended up coming back to the store twice before picking a dress and both times they were so helpful and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I would recommend them again and again!
I am not one to wear a dress, thought marriage was out the window for me. So this was going to be an adventure for sure! Christine, the owner herself was amazing!!! I came in willing to try anything but did know a few of my dislikes. I had been to a few shops prior but nothing compared to her personality and how much she cared. She wanted me to have nice pictures, know the names and brands but also feel comfortable. But most of all she really was dedicated to MY GOALS!!!! There is nothing like a stylist/SHOP OWNER who is honest but wants to meet your goal in every way possible! Loved it! We got along like friends and it wasn’t weird. I have had experiences where the other stylists have been more touchy than I would have preferred and she was more than professional and actually quite fun!!!! I would not only return, but my dress and recommend her….I HOPE SHE IS AROUND FOR MY KIDS TO SHOP HERE TOO!!! Thanks for everything! See you again soon!
I found my dream wedding dress with the incredible aid of Chelsea at Urban Set Bride! She was so attentive and really listened to my needs and wants as a client. Chelsea was also incredibly compassionate and I've truly never had such an enjoyable experience trying on that many dresses. With Chelsea's help I really did have that "this is the dress" moment and I cannot express enough gratitude. Thank you Chelsea and the team at Urban Set Bride! XOXO
Let me just start off by saying that I hate to shop. It is truly one of my least favorite activities. So needless to say, even though it was for a wedding dress, I wasn’t particularly jazzed to go shopping for one. You can imagine my surprise when I felt like I didn’t want my appointment to be over at Urban Set because I had just had the most fun trying on dresses!! Seriously, Ruth was amazing and made me feel SO comfortable. We laughed, we ooh’d and ahh’d, and we found the perfect dress for me! The folks at Urban Set were professional, warm, helpful, and welcoming which is really important when making a large and meaningful purchase. Very grateful for my experience there and would absolutely recommend Urban Set for your gown and accessory needs. Also, major shout out to Ruth for finding me the most gorgeous and unique veil that I otherwise wouldn’t have found myself. You the real MVP.
A cozy, size-inclusive bridal boutique with excellent service! I found THE dress here and loved the privacy of being the only client in the boutique. They have a small seating area for a few guests, but I wouldn't bring more than 3-5 people with you or else it would be too crowded. I only ended up bringing my Mom. They had a wide selection of styles and sizes, and all the dresses I tried on were comfy and not too heavy, unlike those stocked at other shops I'd visited. Helen was a great attendant and was a huge help in finding my dress! My only criticism is that the shop is not handicap accessible. We could not have brought my Nana in without difficulty (mostly used wheelchair, some walker if short distances) There are a few steps into the shop and a large threshold (like as tall as a stair step) between the reception area and the actual boutique. I understand it is an old (like historical old) building and hopefully this will be something they could work on for the future.
