Edit: Robin called me and was very apologetic, she offered to do a complimentary facial because of the hiccup. Second time around was a lot better, got the extractions done with the vitamin c facial and my skin was glowing. I appreciate her reaching out to make things right, stuff happens. I’ll definitely support this business again!!!! Original Review: I got the vitamin C facial here yesterday. I picked this spot because I’m new to the area and wanted to support a black owned business. Robin was my aesthetician and she wasn’t friendly, but she wasn’t unfriendly either. She had a very weird energy that was not entirely welcoming. Everyone has an off day so I didn’t stress it. Things seemed to be going fine until we were almost done and I noticed that no extraction was done. I asked her if that’s not typically a part of the service and she proceeded to lie that she used the tool on me, and pulled it out, turned it on for me to hear the sound it makes. I told her I know for sure she didn’t use it, and she continued to lie that maybe I was knocked out when she did it. If that is the case, why do I have all the blackheads I came in with? They were all still full so I know for a FACT that no extractions were done. You made a mistake, just be honest and don’t try to cover up. As a first time customer this put a bad taste in my mouth unfortunately.
This was one of the best experiences I've had at a spa. I had a drop scrub and a massage, These guys are good at what they do.
I got a really nice massage her pre-exam. They say me down to review my medical questionnaire, which was nice. Mr. Benny was very thorough. The room was quiet and peaceful. Ms. Alexander was very professional at the end and I was glad that I could leave a tip electronically. Would definitely recommend!
My boyfriend got me the works package for Valentine's day with lunch included!! I had an awesome body wrap and massage with Benny and then my first ever facial with Paris! I left out of there feeling so relaxed and great! Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere! A great spa in DC!
I have been going to Paris every month since February and the results have been amazing. She truly has gifted hands and only does what's best for the skin. She customizes each facial based on any concerns I might be having. Since I have started going to her consistently I get a lot of compliments on my skin. She has transformed my skin to where I can confidently wear no makeup. Additionally, the products she recommends are top notch and work wonders. You can see and feel the difference with the products she recommends. You will not be disappointed!.
