As a local workaholic, I'm always on the hunt for the best dining experiences, and recently, I had the pleasure of trying out Mr. B's Take Out, a local soul food restaurant that has been generating quite a buzz. While I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, I have to say that the food was just okay and could use a little more perfecting. First of all, the cozy vibes at Mr. B's Take Out are absolutely delightful. The restaurant has a welcoming feel that makes you feel right at home, with alot of natural lighting and friendly staff who make you feel like family. However, while the atmosphere was inviting, I couldn't help but feel a little let down by the food. Don't get me wrong, the food at Mr. B's Take Out wasn't bad by any means, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. Some dishes were a hit while others were a miss, and the consistency of the dishes could use some improvement. However, there were a few standouts on the menu, like the deliciously creamy carrot souffle and the mouth-watering desserts. Despite the inconsistencies in the food, the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made my experience at Mr. B's Take Out enjoyable. With a little more attention to perfecting their dishes and maintaining consistency, I believe this restaurant could truly live up to its potential and keep the crowds coming back for more.
Wanted some soulfood reminiscent of Sunday dinners my mom used to cook. Mr.B's delivers Staff is friendly and food is hot Priced just right also. Will definitely return!

If I could give this place negative stars I would by far the nastiest food I have ever tasted in my life my baked chicken had no color over cooked flavorless the gravy us from a jar the mac and cheese is watery and taste like it's store brought frozen mac and cheese the cabbage is boiled no seasoning the seafood platter came with butterfly shrimp not real jumbo shrimp the crab cake is mostly breader the potatoe salad taste like mashed potatoes with relish in them omg I will never visit again and I don't recommend anyone eat here I really don't see how they are still in business they need to be shut down this is far from soulfood I wish so digusted with the food I didn't even bother taking it back and it was pretty pricey to go in the trash
Peace& Blessings to Mr. B's! My daughter had the chicken strips,I ordered the smothered chop meal for my girlfriend and I had a few wings. We enjoyed the food and they give military discount. Very clean and respectful black owned business! Don't miss out people,and the home made pies n cakes looks great,my daughter had slice pecan pie she loved,gonna have fish dinner next time 💯🔥photo next time. #GOGETUSOME
