My, my, my. My husband and I just stopped by from Woodbridge, VA to taste Jackie’s and our waitress Ms. Crystal C. was nothing short of professional. She welcomed us to a table with a smile and pleasant voice and provided exceptional service while checking back with us until the food was done. The music provided in the background equally agreed with the vibe.The food came out promptly and was in abundance and piping hot! It was absolutely delicious and we took three plates to go. Wow! This is the place to eat!! They also offer several forms of entertainment during the week. We plan to come back each time we visit our daughter at college. This establishment offers a true southern taste and vibe.
Great service from Crystal, shrimp and chicken was better than the fish. My husband loved the made to order liver & onions. That fresh Mac n Cheese was very good. #tateapproved
If I could give this restaurant a zero I would. The kitchen manager was incompetent as well as her staff. The floor has holes covered with cardboard, signs in the bathroom instructing the customer to hold the handle. Oh...did i mention the flies that we had to fight during our entire visit. The kitchen staff is incapable of timing food to ensure the entire party gets their order at one time. The liver and onions had enough oil to fry the fish that took 45 minutes to fry. DO NOT EAT at this place that thinks they are a good restaurant. They aren't even capable of taking ownership of their mistakes. I drove almost 2 hours to celebrate my brother-in-law, mother and son's birthdays. Absolute trash. Health inspector should definitely visit this place.
I'm new to the Richmond area and stopped in Jackie's Restaurant for Sunday Dinner with my son and I'm Very glad we did! The food was De-li-cious!! 🤤 I ordered the Smothered Wings, Mac-&-Cheese, Sweet Potatoes, and Collard Greens and I enjoyed every bit of it!! The service was great as well. I believe our Server was Crystal J (?). This young lady was very pleasant, attentive, and patient with us. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept a smile on her face while doing so. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I definitely recommend this place, and definitely will return again. I even ordered a slice of Sweet Potato Pie to go. 😋
Warm and inviting. Food was tasty and comfort all the way. Tender smothered chops. Well seasoned meatloaf. Crispy fresh whiting. First time and we're coming back.
