This place blew my mind. I travel a lot for work and am always looking for a unique experience and opportunities to try local food. I ordered the hamburger that has two grilled cheeses and my co-workers ordered the waffle burger! So yummy We also got to meet the owner and her family. Such an amazing experience. I am looking forward to coming back to Chesapeake just for the food!
I think the woman cooking may have been one of the owners. She was so friendly, helpful, and funny. The food was very tasty and seasoned. I could have eaten more egg rolls if my stomach was bigger. They are divine. My burger and my husband's burger were cooked perfectly. My husband's only critic was a thicker bun for the triple burger he had but still great, he said. My seasoned fries and his onion rings were delicious too. The sweet tea and "dirty water" (half-tea/lemonade) is a tasty thirst quencher! We will be back!!
Prices weren't to bad pretty much like other similar food places. I wasn't pleased with the fish meal, prebreaded fish seemed like with red Xtra salt added so I didn't eat it, wasn't the worst food but no taste to fish, tasted like fish sticks and just wasn't taste I expected for a fish meal and the fries were o er seasoned and a lil over cooked. I also order wings to try, I got mild. When Iooked at them I immediately thought they looked great and was going to be good. They were actually good but after second bite I realized they should've been cooked a lil longer. But I would give the wings another try and just ask for them to be cooked a lil longer.
My boyfriend and I stopped here after our trip to the beach and weren’t sure what to expect but the food was amazing. He got the salmon pita and I got the grilled cheese burger. Def will come back to try the wings. The service was incredible and the owner made us feel right at home.
This is my go to! Family owned business, with great staff and AMAZING FOOD! We frequent here often and have tried many items. Never disappointed. Always fresh, flavorful and great portions. My go to is pictured in this review! Check them out, inside seating also available. Variety of deserts and fresh made drinks.
