I enjoyed the Greek experience immensely. The fresh fish, greek salads, Mousaka and the local Greek wines you could purchase for 10 dollars a bottle were great. Every island had something different to offer. ATHENS was full of historic sites and mythology . I would recommend the earliest walking tour to avoid the afternoon crowds and hot sun. MYKONOS was beautiful. We were able to walk along the sea to old town and little Venice. There were some tucked away museums along the way along with restaurants and shops. PAROS was a little more remote. We were able to visit a beach and swim in the Aegean Sea. We also visited a great winery called Moraitis winery and a little town called Lefkes. SANTORINI has beautiful cliff scenery and gorgeous sunsets. The ferries can be a little challenging getting on and off with your luggage if you are a senior. The Mykonos hotel and Nous Santorini resort were beautiful with luscious breakfast buffets daily. Overall a great trip I would definitely recommend. Thank you so much Jim.
Jim planned the perfect escape for our honeymoon. From start to finish it was a pleasure working with Jim, and the trip went better than we ever could have imagined. After the initial consultation, Jim sent through a list of destination that we would not have thought of on our own. Once we selected Portugal, Jim made all the arrangements and sent us the link to the handy app. We never been on a trip where the pieces - form the pick up at the airport until checking out of our final hotel and returning the rental care - were so seamless. I highly recommend using Jim for anyone who is looking for an amazing honeymoon.
Quite simply, Jim Augerinos always gets it right. He asks the right questions, he makes the best recommendations, he knows all the ins and outs of every location, hotel, island, destination, etc.., and gives you the confidence you are going to have the most fabulous vacation yet. Every year I say to myself “Wow, Jim has really outdone himself… that was the most amazing vacation experience, better than I could have imagined.” Only to find myself saying the same thing the very next year. Jim gets to know you and your travel companions so that each vacation is tailored to your specific desires -- not just booking you a trip to where everyone else is talking about going. Jim heard my feedback about a recent stay at The Four Seasons and recommended a lesser-known resort for our recent vacation to Anguilla. As our vacation approached, I wondered if that was the right decision after looking at the websites of both resorts. But I am so, so glad I listened to Jim! He was exactly right; he listened to what I said, knew what type of resort we wanted, the type of experience we were looking to have and was spot on, as always! And once you’ve decided together on the perfect destination and the perfect resort or hotels, Jim gives you one on one consulting to ensure your days and evenings are planned out, so you take full advantage of all there is to do and see and eat while you are there (but not do too much, understanding that you also want to relax and take in the special moments). He has personally been to every destination and gives you all the little details you need to know so you hit all the fun spots and hidden gems along the way. Jim is also available the entire time leading up to and while you are on vacation so that if a flight is delayed or a connection missed, he personally calls the resorts, rebooks all your reservations, and ensures that you can relax, knowing everything will be exactly how it was planned. In essence, after relying on Jim for over 20 years of vacations for myself, my spouse, and my daughter, I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere without Jim guiding us. He goes above and beyond. We heard about Jim from my sister who married over 14 years ago. My fiancé and I contacted him interested in going to Greece for our honeymoon. We were honestly very overwhelmed with the thought of planning since neither of us were familiar with the area. He turned out to be the perfect person to help us. His family is Greek and he gave us his honest opinion of what areas were best. He gave us freedom to pull from his recommendations and select what we found the most interesting. He gave a long list of options for day trips and activities. So many options! In the end the hotels and excursions exceeded our expectations. We were so incredibly thankful that we had Jim leading us in the right direction for the best trip we have ever been on. We will definitely be contacting him in the future for other milestone trips!
I have told anyone who will listen about how impressed I am by Perfect Honeymoons. Jim went above and beyond to make every part of our honeymoon exactly what we wanted. I can't thank him enough. As soon as we got off of our consultation call, it was effortless. Everything was handled - all we had to do was choose from the amazing options he gave us. He handled all of the transportation and there was a welcome bottle of wine and note as soon as we got to the resort. This was also our first trip out of the country and Jim didn't hesitate answering all of our MANY questions we had regarding passports, customs, etc. I could go on and on about how impressed I am by Jim and his team. Can't wait to contact him again for our next vacation!
