Ruthie was so great!! My friends and I did a beginners class (it was all of our first times on a pole), and she met us all at our fitness levels and was so encouraging. It was definitely worth the drive over from DC and we’ll be back for her classes.
Not sure why there are bad reviews, but I really felt welcome when I first came for trial classes even thought I haven’t done pole for so long! They will let you challenge yourself instead of some studios I went, they don’t let me do trial classes for intermediate classes and forced me to attend their full beginner program which I don’t need to as an experienced poler.
I started at this studio in June 2018 after not poling consistently for about 8 months after my previous studio closed down. I can say I have found a new home. The instructors all have very different styles of teaching but they are all great, very helpful and welcoming. Jumping back into pole after a hiatus was not easy, but the instructors worked with me, providing modifications, spots, and that extra push whenever needed. And you learn something new in every class. The owner is great. When I had a problem that could have potentially forced me to stop poling (nothing to do with the studio), she was responsive and worked hard to help find a solution. Thank you Fit 4 Polers for making my transition a smooth one.
The class was awesome. Really a place with no judgement. You get let it all go and try something new! Had my first pole experience yesterday and now I'm hooked! I feel like I worked every muscle group head to toe. The teachers I had were great! They were very fun. They encouraged you to move aft your own pace. The 2 classes I took, power 4 pole and the beginners pole were Jam packed. My only concern was of running into someone! Had a blast, a great workout, and got to release my sexy!
I was willing to drive 8 hours away to attend three workshops that I had paid two weeks in advance. Never saw anything about no refunds , but if there was I didn't see it. Between that time, a hurricane affected the area of North Carolina and parts of Virginia which I feel like wasn't safe for me to travel. I would have been fine with the no refund if they have been more courteous. I got a call back from someone from the studio offering to try and get me a refund until this day I have not heard anything back or wasn't even offered a partial refund
