Destiny Dance is awesome! Our teen, who is pretty finicky with most things, loved the dance class from day 1! April is such a joyful and talented teacher, who clearly embraces her craft, as she continues to perform, herself! She's able to bring out the shy kids as well as stimulate the bold, and creates great choreography, even for beginner levels. We're so glad we found Destiny Dance! Definitely recommend!
We LOVE Destiny Dance! Ms. Janet has been our teacher and WOW she is incredible at what she does- she is so charismatic, has great energy, is very knowledgeable about movement, and just knows how to communicate with kids (and adults!). Sometimes getting involved in extracurriculars can be overwhelming, I always love pulling up to Destiny because I know my kid is having SO much fun while learning a lot each class- they don’t just run around, they are learning real skills! It is also nice to be able to drop off rather than stay each time, some studios don’t have that flexibility. I’ve struggled in the past with finding effective and trustworthy instructors for my kids, the staff at Destiny Dance know what they are doing and they really care about their students.
The owner April just organized my daughter 6yo birthday party. Let me tell you that April did an outstanding job. From the first call we had, she was on top of everything. Replying to my numerous texts/emails, making sure my daughter wishes for her birthday are well taken into account. April took care of everything the only thing I did was to send out the invitations and make sure everybody will be there on the day of the party. I can't praise and thank her enough. Kids had great time, and parents were so happy to see the kids having fun. The studio is top notch, spacious, extra clean. My daughter has already told April we were coming back for her 7yo birthday party :) Thanks again and all the best
My daughter has had a phenomenal experience at Destiny Dance. She had so much fun during her first few dance lessons that she asked to have her birthday party there. The “hip hop Minnie Mouse” birthday party was a hit and many family members and friends commented on how much fun the party was. If you ask her about dance lessons at Destiny Dance, she will scream, “I LOVE DANCE CLASS!!!” I am excited that she loves dance and is learning from the warm, engaging, exciting, and passionate team at Destiny Dance.
The best place for your kids to learn Ballet and Hip-hop. Miss April and Janet are the BEST. My 5 yrs old daughter tried many dance places in mclean, falls church, and Vienna but did not like any.
