Atmosphere was nice. It's perfect for date night. Jocelyn was a great help with the menu and spot on with her recommendations. Not your typical carribean food, but that is the unexpected plus. The flavors from the African and Caribbean fusion is mind blowing. Starter was the fried Jerk Wings were a hit. The fusion in this jerk flavor was very unexpected . Not the typical jerk hit but a slow build to it that was nice and super flavorful.(They should bottle that jerk sauce, it's A1!) I would put it on everything. I had the oxtail. Way more than you normally get for the price.(Pick of the bones just to show amount) Meat was falling off so good. Plantains were so sweet and ripe. My hubby had the Jerk Crab Stuffed Salmon. Portion was spot on. Flavor was awesome. He cleaned his plate, lol. Definitely will vist again to try other things on the menu.
My husband and I came here tonight, just trying it out. Oh my! The food is delicious. I ordered the Curry Chicken. It came with cabbage and cilantro rice. My husband, the Ox Tails. It came with coconut rice, peas, and cabbage. Large portions. I jacked this plate up, but if you're not a huge eater, they'll be some top take home with you. We're definitely coming back!
Love the vibes at Bellos. Very clean and nice. The food was good and came out fast. Justine is the best! She always has a positive attitude and is very friendly. She is very attentive! My friends and I love Karaoke night! ❤️
Cute spot for date night! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. He let us know up front that they were out of a few dishes. (Bummer) food and drinks were great. We will have to come back and try the oxtails. Side note the DJ was on point!
The atmosphere is upbeat. There is music played through satellite and a dj comes in on the weekend. There is limited seating so especially a party over 4 needs to get in before 9 or you risk waiting in line for seating. The only glasses that match are the shot glasses and by 10pm they only had plastic cups. We were a party of 8.4 parole had delicious meals, 2 never got their food, and 2 had to send back food for being under done then over cooked. I am hoping this was an off night because the spot is niceand half our party just very good food.
