Never disappointed whenever I go there. The entrees are prepared fresh; they are yet hot when I order takeout. Delicious to the last forkful. One of the better jewels in the city.
Amazing space with cool tunes,(the Roots and Digable Planets.) fantastic bartender Took good care of us and made sure our food was amazing even though it was late. Had curry shrimp and bbq chicken. Can’t wait to go back for the jerk chicken and more. VERY affordable with PLENTY of leftovers for another meal. Almost better the second night after the flavors settled. Will be a regular place for us when we visit Richmond. Thank you Courtney!
Barvina is amazing!!! This was my first time trying jerk chicken and I am in love. My husband loved the red snapper. Everything about this restaurant is amazing. You need to try it!
Lemme tell you...this place is the Capital of Burgers!!! I ran around for about 3 years looking for a good burger, passed this place several times judging it from the outside and not mention when you go in it’s not the best looking place but if you can get past all of that to get to the prize of a BOMB tasting burger you will not regret it! Now I placed my order over the phone, gave them time and went to pick it up...but when I got there it wasn’t ready & the reason was....(drumroll please) he had to clean the grill!!!! Yes clean the grill... that was music to my ears so it was definitely worth the wait. Forgot Burger Bach and Carytown Burgers & I say that with love....but this Bottom Burger is where you need to get your burger!!!! Portion size is like that too!!! Money well spent!
Nice unassuming place, friendly wait staff. Got the mushroom burger with tater tots, nice char on burger as it was also tasty and juicy and the tots were hot and crispy. Great place give it a try 😀
