I had a really amazing experience with Janella. She relaxed my hair and I have a very sensitive scalp. She listened to me carefully and adjusted her service to fit my needs. I had no burning or scabbing afterwards, and it was one of the best relaxers I have ever received. She is easy to talk to, warm, and trustworthy. It was my first time visiting her and I can't wait to go back. If you are thinking about booking an appointment, do it now! Don't hesitate, she is great.
I am a perfectionist and I always conduct extensive research for any service I use. I found Mrs. Janella Duncan in June 2022. I came to her to fix the problem I had with my hair breaking off and thinning in the back. She prescribed her treatments and I began using those for a couple of months. She also has me using the John Amico products at home to maintain consistency with my hair growth journey. She not only stopped the breaking and shedding, but she also transformed my hair from being dry and brittle to the healthiest its ever been. I got a perm on the second appointment and I haven’t received a touch up yet!!!! My hair has grown and matured even though I workout everyday and I sweat it out. Janella is very professional, a master of her craft, humble, consistent, and reliable. I have truly made the perfect decision to choose Janella as my hair stylist.
Janella is a great stylist. She takes the time to understand your hair goals. She has excellent customer service and I was so comfortable letting her take control of my hair getting a chocolate smoothie. I love it!
Just started seeing Janelle to try to breathe new life into this hair and she is very professional, knowledgeable, and went thru all options with me and explained in clear detail about how to get my hair healthy and I've had nothing but positive experiences with her thus far. Janella is deeply welcoming. I requested a hair consultation before other services, and was at ease discussing what I currently use on my hair, and ultimately, my hair goals. She listened patiently- asked questions- and walked through options for treatments. The peaceful environment was exactly what I needed, and the results of my hair extensions were fabulous. She style the extensions exactly as I imagined - taking time to assure the length I wanted to achieve. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this comfortable at a salon- it felt personal- and know for sure I’ll be with her moving forward!
