Came in today close to closing. Customer service was good! I received a warm welcome from the lady taking my order. Ordered taste of New Orleans (Jumbo, Red beans and rice, Jambalaya) and Catfish & Grits. My fiancé loved the Red beans and rice. We both do. Flavor was delicious. Second favorite was Jambalaya. The catfish and jumbo were good. We were anticipating more flavor and spice, but that’s just us personally. Only reason I gave a 4/5 is because the price compared to the portion size. Good overall.

Garlicky, and you tasted the hint of rosemary!! The Greens…DELICIOUS! Plentiful, I just needed a pinch more saltiness. Their Cajun Shrimp & Grits (with sun dried tomatoes, & basil, and a creamy cajun shrimp sauce $21). STAMP!! Creamy, buttery, garlicky, with deliciously sautéed shrimp!! GET THIS!! Their Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya (beef sausage, chicken, with tomatoes & rice $18). LIKE THAT!! Flavorful, meaty, and savory!! Their Red Beans & Rice (stewed red beans, rice, & beef sausage $17). STAMP!! High quality, tasty, fulfilling, meaty, & hearty. Their Bread Pudding (with Banana Foster $8.50). STAMP!! Unlike any bread pudding I’ve had!! The staff was very friendly. We got to sample the different dishes and then my wife and I had the fried catfish, gumbo, jambalaya and etoufee, cornbread, red beans, collard greens. I didn't get the shrimp grits, but the sample was very creamy. The bread pudding bananas foster was firm not too soft, the sauce was alright, I'm not sure what member of the banana family the banana slices came from. I've had better takes on bananas foster overall.
Wow! If you like New Orleans food (Cajun and creole cooking) you must try this place. We have been waiting for a restaurant that serves our favorite food and we finally found it. The just opened in July and we want to make sure that they get the recognition and visibility that they deserve. They serve restaurant grade food, not food hall. What is good? Everything! We got a tasting. Don’t be deterred by the location. It is hard to find but it is worth the drive.
Just ordered for the first time, fried catfish dinner with grits and collard greens. It looked exactly like the picture and taste was out of this world. First time eating grits and it was delicious. Tried the homemade corn bread with their butter and I could have eaten more. Portions were great and I am full. I will be going back again. On a side note I was happy to hear they will be opening a restaurant. Can’t wait to eat their beignet fresh out of the oven. I ordered some from their catering service.
