I tried park 54 for the first time during dine out week, we were a group of 4. The food was great I had the fried snapper, I was surprised it was flour fried I'm use to skin fried snapper but it was still delicious. I will say the peach cobbler came out cold, the manger did apologize about that. The lemonade and cornbread are absolutely delicious. The hostess did come over and tell us she needs our table about 10 minutes after we paid despite the 5 tables around us being completely empty and upstairs was empty as well we were there around 430 pm on a Thursday.
The food is to die for, absolutely amazing but the service was beyond slow from the moment you enter the door. The host and the waiters take a long time and the atmosphere was subpar to say the least but the tribute decorations dedicated to the black regiments was a lovely touch. Would recommend if you want good food and don't mind a long wait & a casual setting. Pictures: short rib w/ mashed potatoes & mac n cheese. calamari. rasta pasta. & steak w/ spinach
I was very excited to try out Park 54 for the first time and went for my birthday. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The cocktails were watery and the loaded fries had no cajun seasoning. I ordered the fried catfish with greens and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was bland. I added salt and pepper and it came to life. The greens were good and so was the catfish so 2/4 things ended up being good. I might go here again but it won’t be on the top of my list of places to frequent. I will say that the atmosphere was beautiful and I appreciated the energy. Maybe it was just an off night? 🤷🏿♀️
It was pretty busy, but once someone came over to help us an excellent dinner took place. Steak medium rare was cooked perfect. Red snapper had a fantastic crisp. Candied yam was to die for. Edit: Red velvet cake and banana bread pudding was amazing. Too bad they ran out of peach cobbler, definitely coming back to try that.
Went out to celebrate my niece birthday. The restaurant had good vibes, the music was ambient, the service was alright, our server did not smile or have “energy”. The food was delicious.
