I moved to the area in April from Fairfax abs I have been looking for a reasonably priced and nice salon and I have found it! Courtney C did my eyebrows today and she did amazing! It was the least painful eyebrow waxing I have ever had. I definitely recommend and I will be going back.
I recommend Blake & Co strongly based on first-hand experience, particularly Mattie the barber. She has been outstanding since I first walked in, both in terms of her attention to detail and style expertise as well as recommendations for product. As a high school administrator, I can attest that when teenagers comment positively about the fresh fade, you know you've got a professional. The atmosphere of the establishment is top-notch, comfortable and inviting, and everyone I've met there seems to really enjoy their work and each other. If you're new to the area and looking for a first spot, or a local veteran who is ready to step it up, Blake & Co should be your first and only call.
Like most women, I’ve had many hairstylists during my life, some good and many not so good. I made a consultation appointment with Tasha at Blake and Co to see if she could correct my previous highlights and I was instantly impressed and I quickly made an appointment with her. My appointment time couldn’t come soon enough and when it did, let me tell you, Tasha is not only incredibly talented she’s as sweet as can be. Once she had finished with my hair, she took some after pictures and showed them to me. I was so blown away that I literally cried. No joke, looking at the amazing job she did on my hair, correcting what it had looked like prior, I just couldn’t help myself. She’s definitely stuck with me because when you find the best you keep it. If you’re looking for someone with an incredible talent and a great personality, Tasha is your girl. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
I strongly recommend Rene at Blake & Co for any of your hair needs. Rene has been doing my hair for about a year now, and she never fails to amaze me. The salon was very clean and the stylists were all very friendly as well!
Mattie is, without a doubt, one of the best barbers to ever cut my hair. My mid-fade looks phenomenal. She knows what you want, and more importantly how to cut it. Mattie is very professional and informative for your future cuts, along with making product recommendations so you can look your best. Can not recommend Mattie enough for your next cut. Also, try to book well in advance as she normally has a waitlist, because she’s that good. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Mattie!
