Food was very good, prices have changed since what's on Google was posted, see my updated pictures. Food was reasonably priced. I got some small batch juices with out asking how much they were... they were 7$ a piece... Definitely worth going to if you're into Jamaican food.
Found it online. I love me some jamaican food, got my favorite oxtail n rice comes with side of plantains and cabbage. Everything was good, oxtail n rice were great, plantains were great, cabbage was a bit to garlicky but if u like garlic like then im sure you'd love the cabbage as well. But overall great food and portions.
The best Jerk chicken and curry goat I have ever had 5 star and customer service is exceptional. The cleanest restaurant I have ever been to. Warm and comforting staff and fresh food that’s is full of flavor and spice. This is the first restaurant I have been to in Springfield that I was greeted and I felt welcomed. The other restaurants I have been to the customer service was not great at all but Jamaica Spice Paradise is amazing I would recommend them anytime. 100%
We have a specific love and appreciation for Jamaican food so we have sampled from places all over MA, CT and PA. Jamaica Spice Paradise is by far our favorite spot. The owner is an incredible chef who takes pride in all he cooks and was happy to share some of his cooking history with us explaining that his food is original old Jamaican recipes. I am vegetarian and have had two of the stew options: the Bob Marley Stew which is rich and sweet and the Jamaican Stew which is rich and savory. Both are delicious and full of flavor. My spouse is a meat eater and has had Oxtails and Jerk chicken: the Oxtails are cooked to perfection, soft, moist, gelatinous and the sauce is the perfect rich thin kind. The jerk chicken can be ordered mild or spicey, it is moist, juicy, and full of flavor. We have also had the coconut rice, white rice, and rice and peas which are all delicious. The cabage is shredded almost like a slaw, flavorful, fresh, crunchy, perfect. The plantains are so so sweet, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Seriously... you have to try their food, it is worth every penny.
I ordered the Jerk Oxtails with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Disgusting!! The rice was so soggy, it was like a pudding texture and then they doused it with gravy! The jerk oxtail had no jerk flavor at all, no seasoning, the cabbage tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil with no seasoning! I'm highly disappointed that I spent $31 for a meal I had to toss in the trash, it was not edible at all.
