This was a wonderful location to stay for a wedding. Shana at the check in desk was so helpful with every little thing. She took such good care of us and we had a big crowd. All of the people working there were very nice and cordial. Thank you for a great time! Shana needs a raise! :)
(Review for Residence Inn Marriott - Novi, MI, October 2023). Stayed at this Residence Inn for 2 nights while traveling for work. The good: Decent price, well designed rooms (particularly the full sized desk with power outlets, first hotel I’ve been to that didn’t have a tiny one), fairly clean, AC didn’t have weird shutoffs in middle of night that left me sweating. The bad: The location isn’t great. While it’s near the interstate, there’s not many restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast is just “eh” at the hotel itself. The room needed repairs. Big crack in the toilet base, light in kitchen and in bathroom flickered for several minutes when first turned on, sliding shower doors wouldn’t stay shut so had to use a towel to keep them from reopening when showering. Never tried the stove or did any cooking, fridge was fine. Overall, it’s a decent, mostly clean place to stay, but needs more maintenance and better have a car to get around (kind of a given for Detroit suburbs)
It’s a great place to do an extended stay. It’s also in the middle of everything. The pool is ok and we really enjoyed the fire 🔥 pit. All pros. The con is no room cleaning I don’t care if they just change the trash at least ask. Do we need or would we like our room cleaned. And then looking for a tip I’m a good tipper but only for services I received not services after I leave.
The hotel is clean and in a great location. Breakfast was good. The pool was very comfortable. My disappointment was with my room. I stayed in room 114 and there was an extremely loud noise (like a jackhammer) every 15 minutes ALL NIGHT! I barely slept. I informed the staff about the issue and they were very apologetic. They said they would provide Marriott Rewards points but it was never done.
Had a great stay, front desk. Staff were lovely as well as cleaning and maintenance. Great location in Novi close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Room very comfortable.
