Kait is wonderful! I shaved my head in support of a friend, so haven’t done anything with my hair in years to allow it to grow back. Finally felt it was long enough and I was comfortable enough for a trim, and Kait nailed it! She perfected keeping it long while doing everything that needed to be done to fix it up. Thank you Kait!
Company requires(will not put in generic data as they would be "liable" for it) PII to schedule any services. This strange business practice likely indicates the business or scheduling servicer sells your data or possibly uses the collected data to refute the services which don't meet customer expectations. This is probably why they have a score of 4.8 despite a litany of sub 3 star reviews, would not recommend.
I recently received a curly cut from Glow. The stylist didn’t finish diffusing my hair and let me leave with wet hair on a very cold day. This also meant that my hair was never scrunched out by her to see the final look. Some pieces of my hair are much curlier than others so the difference can be pretty big. As a result, I was left with a very uneven haircut and some pieces stick out several inches longer than others. I know a curly cut is not always uniform, but this was well beyond any variation I have had with past curly cuts.
If you’re in the area and looking for a CURLY hair cut - GLOW IS IT. The best part? Every single stylist I’ve had (sometimes I just come in for color) even if not trained in curls knows how to dry your hair curly and will have you do the hair flip and all that. I LOVE Glow for this! No other hair studio has done this for me. Moved around here 2 years ago and have been curly hair cut hopping around here til I found Alexa at Glow! She’s amazing, knowledgeable and TRANSFORMED my hair. Has never looked better. Also love the space, everyone’s hair looks great who works here so you feel like you can trust it, and I always come out looking better! For reference I am South Asian/brown girl with naturally curly black hair and they’ve been great to my 3c curls!
My son had a haircut done last night from Glow Studios and it was the worst ever. The girl did not know how to deal with curly hair and we told her to trim the curls and keep the sides long and she chopped all his curls and used a machine on 1 on the sides. Had to sit 2 hrs with him as he feels so bad he doesn't want to go to school for a month. It is a boy so can't offer hair extensions or anything basically he just has to bear it. On top of this I had to pay much higher than expected somehow. They don't know curls beware. Worst experience ever. If I could I would give minus 5 stars
