Amazing soul/southern food. Braised oxtail is highly recommended and the collard greens are done very well - cooked for a long time and seasoned well. Mac and cheese was very good but not the star. Not pictured, but the bread pudding was so good!! Recommend going at 4pm when they open so you don’t have to fight for a table. There are plenty of paid parking spots around the area.

I love, love, love this place. This is my new favorite spot. I literally Google places and try them out. So glad I came across this place. On the weekends, a reservation is much needed, however I drove from Toledo to check this out and they graciously accommodated me. I will be making a reservation next time! I don’t want to miss out on the super cool vibe, the amazingly delicious food and the outstanding service! I never said, “where is our waitress?!” She was professional, friendly and on top of things! Did I say I love this place :-)

My birthday Dinner was AMAZING!!! JOSH!!!! Best server I’ve had in my 30 years! He really made my experience awesome! We ordered the Catfish Plate, braised oxtail, and Red Snapper! Everything was so delicious we were given a bowl of black eye peas on the house it was the only thing we did not like literally everything else was plate licking delicious! The GREENS were my fav item! Thank you for this experience it was great!

I visited this evening with my girlfriend. The waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable. She made sure we were happy and explained items we asked about. The salmon was really small for the price and I was a little disappointed that I was forced to order my meal ala-cart which resulted in me spending $20 more. The drinks were delicious.

I recently visited Savannah Blue for the first time with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Despite receiving high recommendations, our experience was underwhelming. Upon arrival, we paid $10 for parking in the back lot designated for the restaurant, but there were no clear directions to the front entrance. We accidentally walked into another establishment called the Willow before eventually finding our way up two flights of stairs to Savannah Blue. After being seated, we waited ten minutes without any service or even a menu. Eventually, a server arrived with empty glasses and then disappeared, only for the bartender to bring us water with the assurance that our server would be with us shortly. Despite seeing other staff members standing around, we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a busy holiday weekend and they were understaffed. Once we finally received a QR code to access the menu, we ordered two cocktails and the crab dip. While my drink was great, my husband was served a drink he didn't ask for and was charged an additional $2 for it to be served "neat." The crab dip was disappointing as well, tasting more like tuna than crab. While the wonton chips were enjoyable, the dish didn't live up to its cost for the quality of the ingredients. For our entrees, I ordered the braised oxtails and my husband ordered the fried ribs. Unfortunately, both dishes were underwhelming. The oxtails lacked flavor and tasted more like a bland pot roast, while the ribs were dry and nearly meatless. Overall, our experience at Savannah Blue fell short of our expectations. After paying the bill, we decided to go to Bucharest for a more enjoyable dining experience.
