Location is great, the restaurant is very clean, and plenty dining space. Love the decor and music. Love the representation of the Caribbean with all the flags. The oxtail was juice, meal falling off the bone, rice and pea delicious. Fried plantains were sweet and roti skin just right. The natural lemonade was refreshing. Will be back
This place has authentic all beef patties that are made fresh with every order. As someone from Toronto with patties found on every street corner and as a West Indian, I was a little skeptical at first. I am glad I gave this spot a shot because the customer service is great and the food is on point 👌🏽. On a side note, I think it’s pretty cool that customers can bring in their own flag and it’ll get placed on the wall. Glad to see a Guyanese flag but I would have brought my Canadian one had I known 😂
So thankful we decided to turn around and try this place! Moving to the area soon and this will definitely be a regular spot for us. I ordered the jerk wings with rice and peas, curry potatoes and plantains. My meat was falling off the mother effin bone. You know when you can eat flats in one bite? Like that! Flavor, SLAPPED. Told them they needed to bottle the Mango Jerk sauce. So friggin' good, trying that scotch bonnet when I go back. Coco bread, FLUFFY. Patties, FLAKY. Above all everything was FRESH. Our waitress was so very sweet and helpful. They do karaoke every 1st and 3rd Saturday. They have a really cute outside picnic area where they host a party every 2nd Saturday with love music and hookah! Definitely check this place out. They need to be PACKED every day for how good their food is. Go give them your business! Support locally!
Excellent food & service. I had the Cherry Chicken w sauteed cabbage, greens (so good) and rice & peas with a Carib lager beer while listening to Bob Marley (I ate inhouse). Skyler, Kelly Ann and Lucian are all wonderful people. When I walk in, Kelly Ann always tells my name like I'm the proverbial Norm walking into Cheers.
Absolutely delicious! I got 3 patties for $8 and decided to try the spicy beef, curry chicken, and mixed vegetable served with the guava jerk sauce on the side. My god were they amazing. My favorite was the beef, which paired really well with a red hot sauce they had at the table. The curry chicken was so good especially with the jerk sauce, they complemented each other SO WELL! The vegetable patty was also pretty good, it almost reminded me of a chicken pot pie filling, minus the chicken. Overall I really liked it all and the ambiance is great, I definitely plan to come back for more!
