This food was good. Everything I ordered had us wanting more but we was visiting so we wanted to try others. They was short staffed so the wait was long but my food was fresh. It took me a min to order cause they had a good menu. So they have plenty of options and the the sides are a really good size in serving.
Thibodeaux's took me home as soon as I walked in the door. We were immediately greeted and told how long the wait would be for food. We were told an hr, but it was longer than that. The live band and drinks compensated for the wait. The drinks were really good and strong for the price. When our food did come out, everything was hot. The Lemon Pepper wings were juicy, seasoned perfectly, and crispy. The fish was fried to a perfect crisp. It was flakey but could've used some seasoning on the actual fish. I could taste it in the batter, though. Our server was really cool and took care of us. I also saw one of the servers bring out a tables food and they were on the dance floor. The server took the time to cover all the food with paper towels. I appreciated that small gesture. Whoever the really tall server is, she really looked out for table.
The food was meh. Not really worth the price in my opinion. I got a taterbowel with chicken and shrimp and a side of red beans and rice. Red beans definitely looked and tasted like chili beans with ground meat 😕 and had a watery consistency. It very Cajun to say the least. Our server was sweet but I think she had a few drinks by the time she got to us . We had to keep asking for the same thing over and over as she would forget and it took almost an hr to receive our food🥴. The live Dj and music was good.
I had to pleasure of hosting my birthday party here. What a wonderful time and space to enjoy time with family and friends. Everyone raved about the food and the desserts were delicious. The live music to finish the evening was an added bonus for everyone who came.
Friendly staff. Food was very good. Relaxed atmosphere. Will return. It does cost but that is expected for this type of food.
