We patronized this place because it was black owned. We did not have reservations, but the hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating. However, after we placed our order, we waited almost an hour for our food 😫. The food was good, but it wasn't steaming hot after that wait. The waitress was amazing. She was very high energy and knowledgeable. When we finally received our food, she asked how everything was? Everyone one else said good, which it was, but I was extremely disappointed - long wait and the food was not hot 👎🏽. All drinks are served in plastic cups. Yeah, that's a no for me because mimosas, champagne, etc. out of a plastic cup - I'll pass. We spent over $150 for chicken & waffles and fish & rice. The bartenders were mixing up there punch and we were laughing at their interaction. So, she offered us a complimentary drink. So the servers and bartender were nice. It's the wait with no explanation for me. Parking is awful...We had to pay to park ACROSS the street. We will not be returning.
I wish I could give them a 10 for service. I came in very late but my server got my order in on time. She came back and made sure I had water and was okay. This is a Black Canvas night, which means live music and standing room only. But she made me feel as if I was the only customer in the building. I sat on the patio and ENJOYED my catfish platter. It was good but the presentation was good plus. I was pleasantly surprised that the fish was fried hard. Yes!!!! I will definitely be back.
I'm giving my honest opinion. This bistro is mediocre at best. It's kind of small for one. I had to make reservations because there's really no open seating unless you're on the patio. You can't even see the business sign that says FIVEE. You can't hear yourself because they have the music too loud for that small space. The mimosas were the best thing to order. Don't let me get started on the food. Our entrees were cold and tasted like it was old. Just take a look at the photos. I wouldn't recommend them. I can't believe I wasted a $110 dollar on some nasty brunch. But hey, it was my girlfriends idea to try this place.
I found this spot on tik tok & I had to try it out. I’m glad I did, the food was tasty! I had the French toast breakfast with a side of breakfast potatoes. I also had a strawberry Hennessy lemonade. My waitress was amazing & friendly. The atmosphere was a vibe, it was a bit small, but it wasn’t cluttered. The brunch menu was really simple & straight to the point. Not to mention, the music topped it off! Great spot to hang and eat.
It's a whole vibe on Gospel Brunch Sundays!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The chicken was fried extremely too hard, so wasn't able to enjoy the loaded waffle sandwich much. The bone-in wings & catfish were fried well, though! #RIPBishop 🕊
