I hosted my daughter’s baby shower at The Houston Room. Kari was very helpful with a pleasant demeanor from the very first time I contacted the venue to inquire about reserving the venue to the very end the event. She was very prompt in her responses whenever I reached out with questions or concerns. My event was on a Saturday morning/ afternoon and I received an email notification on the following Monday that my refund deposit had been processed. Be sure to read your contract thoroughly and abide by all rules. I will definitely host another event at The Houston Room as well as refer the venue to my family and friends.
I just had my baby shower here last week. The venue is well kept and definitely met all of my needs. Even things like the chairs added a nice touch to my decor. The venue owner, Kari, was very easy to work with. She was very thorough with communication and answered every single question I had. If you’re looking for decor, I highly recommend La Chantel which is affiliated with the venue. Every guest had nothing but great things to say about my decor and wanted to know who decorated. The Houston Room is like a one-stop shop. They have everything you need and want for your event. I will definitely be back for my next event!!

My baby shower was at The Houston Room and I cannot rave enough about my experience. The venue is gorgeous and modern. It photographed beautifully. Kari and her team delivered top notch service allowing the event to run smoothly. The venue is easy to find and there is ample parking. We will definitely host another event here in the near future.
This event center was recommended by a friend. We booked it for a co-ed bridal shower. The booking process and consultation was great. The room accommodations were setup as expected. The only issue we had was the air conditioning. It did not cool down until 11:30 pm so a few guests opted to leave the event early due to being uncomfortable. I do recommend this venue, but the air conditioning needs to be on at least two hours before the event. I realize that it’s been extremely hot, but with the money you pay you expect to be comfortable. That’s my reason for 4 stars.
