Everything she does is incredible! She was the only wedding baker that allowed me to pick three flavors for my two tier cake and cupcakes! She was also the only one that did not quote me over $500 minimum for a guest list of only 75. We have used her for Mother’s Day, birthdays now, and our wedding and she’s our baker for life. If you’re looking foe someone who loves what they do and has beautiful treats….This is your one stop shop. Our wedding cake on July 29 was absolutely delicious and beautiful everyone loved the flavors. Thanks Bermarie!
Loved our cake!!! We lived 4 hours from our wedding destination and Blush & Wisk was so great to work with us! They sent us samples & had us design the cake with them virtually! The flavors were soooo good! Highly recommended this cake shop!
This cake which is the size of my husband’s hand cost $115. We were quoted $115 for the cake, $5 extra filling, and “moderately complex” design. Our invoice says that we asked for the flowers to be on top and the sides. We were told that they weren’t able to put flowers on the top because there was no room, but it’s pretty obvious to me that there is room. We called to address it and they said that it is their policy that they have a paper you sign when you take it saying that you approve the design. It was boxed and tied up so we assumed that they had done what we asked for and that they don’t expect their customers to be ready to come in, send it back, ask them to complete the job that we agreed upon, and wait while they fulfill the order. We will be doing a charge back as they didn’t fulfill the order on our invoice. I think there should have been a price reduction because they didn’t complete the agreed upon design. I didn’t ask or expect a refund, just an adjusted price to reflect what they were able to complete. PLEASE have your invoice out, open the box, and thoroughly inspect it to make sure they have fulfilled the invoice with the quoted price. If you don’t, they will blame you for it. I have never had a bakery do this before so I’m assuming they have had issues with people unhappy with their purchases and they don’t want to complete the order or take responsibility for their work.
I ordered a dozen of customized cupcakes for my birthday. The cupcakes were delicious and cute, but they looked nothing like what I requested in my order. I was informed that the team here would attempt to get my cupcakes to look as close to the picture I sent and I even doubled and triple check with the person I placed my order with if they had the correct colors on the order, and they stated yes. Well, the cupcakes looked nothing like what I wanted, so I was quite disappointed that I spent all this money to not get what I was expecting :/ The cupcakes didn't have any greenery added to it and the multicolored floral cupcakes weren't included. Even if the cupcakes were blush and not as vibrant, but they at least achieved the style of the cupcakes I would've been a happy camper. Just not what I asked for. The cupcakes I asked for are on the left and the cupcakes I got are on the right.
Absolutely loved the cake I ordered from Blush + Whisk! Bermarie was so accommodating and kind. She is extremely talented. My family loved the cake she made for my sister's birthday. We were getting compliments on the cake from others when going to the birthday dinner. If I ever need a cake again, I will definitely be ordering from here.
