The location of this place couldn’t be better. That’s it’s very best attribute. The room however was not as clean as it should have been and ultimately had bed bugs as I’ve discovered the bites on my legs. The fitness center may be the cleanest place in the hotel and was excellent but one of the elliptical machines does need servicing as it clunks when in use. If you have an EV car, note that there is no charging at this hotel. The food was good and nightly reception nice. I just have a hard time getting over the dirty carpet and bed bugs in the room.
This is probably the best Embassy Suites there is in the US. The overall building is freshly updated. The rooms are clean and cool; and there must be some noise canceling material in the wall because it's very quiet. There is friendly staff everywhere you look. The cocktail hour has a plethora of options and variety of snacks. The breakfast is the best I've had in any Embassy. Shout out to the cook for cooking amazing omelets 10...yes...10 at a time to perfection. Highly recommend this for anyone.
The rooms are always clean and fresh. The hotel has a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere. Well lit parking lot. Courteous, professional and friendly staff.
Their vacuum game is not strong. My room was spacious but it needed more thorough vacuuming! The maid who brought my clean cups to replace the dirty ones left in my room by previous guests left the dirty cups sitting at my door for my entire stay! The front desk is very well trained and represents well, but that's where it ends. The breakfast cook was rude, surly, and didn't know how to beat eggs, literally! What he handed me was mostly an accident with eggs, not an omelet! It wasn't tasty either. It's a shame because the facility is really a lovely design in a great location! I hope they're able to improve the cleanliness of the rooms and respectful maid and restaurant staff!
The hotel room stunk fairly bad, and no rooms had a/c heat only because it was October. Although it was October and 56° outside it was still 76° in our room, their solutions were open the balcony door, and the front door…. The balcony door opens a whopping 4 inches and the hotel room floors aren’t separated so all the noise from the bottom bar/restaurant to the top floor echoes like an amphitheater, great acoustics but not ideal for sleeping so even if we wanted to be unsafe and leave the front door open “which is a ridiculous idea” it would be waaaaaay too noisy. One of the front desk staff members was visually agitated and would make disgusted and irritated looks and noises in between customers walking up when we first arrived to check in and although the manager checked us in not her, she seemed bothered by me coming down and speaking to the manager a separate time about the thermostat issue making faces and noises, childish and rude behavior from a customer service employee definitely didn’t feel welcome. I always ask for extra towels at hotels and the manager who checked me in informed me I already had towels in my room and if I wanted extra I could request the next day… It wasn’t my first time in a hotel I am aware there are towels and how many and I know that my personal needs require more. The temperature in the rooms were enough for me to seek a different hotel but everything combined was just unexpected for an over $600 3-night stay. Ended up at the JW Marriot everything is extremely clean & smells very nice, the room is currently 66° and I have enough towels to build an apocalypse bunker.
