I recently had the privilege of attending a 'Tomorrow's World' presentation by the Living Church of God at the Embassy Suites in Milpitas. From the onset, the hospitality was second to none. The hotel itself boasts a modern aesthetic, with spacious suites that offer comfort and luxury. The staff were remarkably professional, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring a pleasant experience for all attendees. The event facilities provided the perfect environment for the presentation, with advanced audio-visual setups and a convenient layout. The proximity to local attractions and dining options was an added bonus. Would highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.
I will start by saying that the location for this hotel was very convenient. The breakfast was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast attendant was super sweet and even went out of his way to get my son extra muffins after breakfast had already finished. The reason I did not give this hotel a better rating is because I was expecting an Embassy sort of experience but it felt more like a motel once we got to our room. The carpet had stains and crumbs. The bathroom had long and short hair in the shower and floor. It smelled awful, almost like a smoker room, which we were not in. There were also sticky spots on the bathroom floor. The mirrors had not been cleaned. I also really didn’t understand why we were charged $15/day for parking. It was an open parking lot! I will unfortunately not stay at this location again. Very disappointed.
One of the better hotels I’ve stayed at for work. The rooms are spacious and clean. Balcony was a nice touch. Breakfast is pretty good. They offer a happy hour every day from 5-6:30 pm, 2 free drinks included per day. Great location, within walking distance to a few food spots and grocery stores. Would stay here all times possible.
I was extremely disappointed with my stay. Upon arrival there was food on the vanity and chairs and in the morning I was interrupted 3 times by the maid service. I first ran into her after 8am and waived her off. I looked around for the do not disturb sign and could not find one. At 9:45 the same lady came back and knocked and proceeded to open the door. The third time the maid came back she visibly upset we were still in the room. We kindly expressed check out was noon as stated on the door. She just glared at us, shook her finger at my sister and said "No later" then left. I love the Embassy but I do not appreciate the service we received. I know she was just doing her job but it completely ruined our stay and interrupted the sleep of my party. It was still a great location and amenities were solid but my staff interaction was poor.
Phone in my room didn't work, bartender was kinda rude and made us get up and walk to the other side of the bar to be served the reception drinks. Not a big deal just felt like a power trip thing. Showers in the rooms have a metal bar across the opening right at head height, you WILL hit your head on it if you're taller than 5'8". You'll try to remember but on the way out you'll forget and absolutely smash it.
