Great location! I picked this hotel because they have an attached parking garage (which was hard to find in this area). You're able to enter into the Starbucks/lobby area from the garage with your key. Every where we needed to go was within walking distance so we didn't move our car, but make sure you get a hotel scan texted to you so you're able to get in & out of the parking garage. Also so you're not paying the garage's rate, but the hotel rate of $59 per day (non valet) after your stay. The lobby is welcoming/nice and the rooms are clean, but a bit older. We chose a "city view" which is a view of the nearby buildings, but overall a solid 3. Everything else was a 4+ and we'll definitely stay there again.
Great and friendly service. Nice hotel with a good restaurant, burgers great, eggs Benedict a bit disappointing. Wifi didn't work well in the room, at one point we had to go to the lobby. The air vent blows directly on one of the beds.
Stayed on a quick trip to revisit a city I love, unfortunately, the experience was poor. As the front desk manager of a select service hotel similar to this one I can say while the building and amenities are great, the service was lacking. The issues started at check in where they authorized $70 for incidentals for a 1 night stay. I reserved myself to eating my meals at the hotel as that ate up a chunk of my budget. That night, I ate at their inhouse restaurant, The Copper Fox, and enjoyed it. Lily was kind and accommodating. I then found the room to be clean and well thought out in design. I slept well that night until I was awoken at 9am to the sound of a housekeeper knocking. Check out was not until 11am, however, I hoped it was a mistake and she simply had knocked on the wrong room, things happen. I decided since I was already awake to get ready for the day. About the time I was packing my bag approximately 10:40am there was the same housekeeper knocking at my door. As she wanted me out of the room so badly I decided to leave it and go down for an early lunch. Upon entering the Copper Fox I was told I would have to wait until 11:30 to be seated for lunch so I graciously waited in the lobby for about 45 minutes and was seated. After sitting for about 10 minutes, and putting in my order, I was told I could not be served because of a banquet. They offered me some points as compensation but it did not make up for my aching stomach as I was forced to eat the rather expensive poor quality food from the Amtrak Cafe due to time restraints. Checking now I can see that they have not purchased the points nearly 2 weeks after my stay. This may be too deep but they seem to have a pattern of breaking their promises to guests as they do not honor check out time, do not serve guests in their restaurant, and do not purchase points they promise.
Last May I stayed here for 10 nights, in this modern, very welcoming hotel. For privacy reasons I don't want to mention his name, but a very friendly host of the hotel gave me an excellent room on the 23rd floor. He had only been employed for a few weeks, thank you very much if you read my message! I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. In terms of location and amenities, I can't think of a better place, you're right in the middle of Michigan Avenue! The hotel also has a Starbucks inside, a swimming pool, a fitness room and coffee and tea facilities in the room. I will definitely come back here. ✌️
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Front Desk is top notch. Micro pub is awesome. They let my group meet in a small room in the back for privacy. Rooms are great. Perfect location!!
