We spent three nights here last week for a quick get away. The staff was fantastic and extremely friendly. Asked several staff members a few questions as to local attractions and got excellent advice and descriptions that perfectly matched the places we went. The hotel is getting old and in need of renovation, but we found it comfortable and not so out of date or worn out to be a problem. The location was perfect for us, a very short walk from the Midtown MARTA station and many surrounding places to visit and eat. Had several meals from the restaurant and found it to be quite good. No room service, but can go down and bring to your room yourself. Breakfast buffet was very good with all the typical items very well prepared. Excellent biscuits and gravy and the bacon was perfectly cooked, not too crispy or undercooked. That's huge to me!!! I didn't get his name but the chef was fantastic, funny, and super friendly. John at the front desk was fantastic and Michele the bartender was great to chat with.
Me and my boyfriend stayed for four nights here. All the receptionists were so kind and thoughtful. I really enjoyed their services. One of the amazing services that we were impressed was the way they upgraded our room. My boyfriend was a Hyatt member and he requested a quiet room because he had a trouble falling asleep when it was noisy. We got upgraded quiet room, thanks to their hospitality. However, we were charged eight extra dollars after we left there. We never use any extra charged services. The eight dollar bill was not clear and there was no other way to ask them. Eight dollar is not big, but because the receptionists were so nice and I really enjoyed staying there, I decided to post this. Unfortunately, the small eight dollar thing after we left made us disappointed. I hope this will never happen so that it won't ruin the receptionists great effort of hospitality.
I really like this hotel but what I like most about it was the location. It was in the heart of midtown Atlanta and our room was very very cozy. Love the view. The breakfast was okay. They need to work on it though outside of that. Had a wonderful time and the service was great. The valet parking was wonderful. The guys working the valet were great. Just an overall great experience.
Loved everything about this stay, with the exception of the super hard bed and the quickly go flat pillows. I compare it to sleeping on a rock. Outside of that the staff was awesome, the food at our conference was amazing, and it was very clean and tidy. I would stay here again, I'll just bring my own pillows next time to give me so firmness.
Had a two day stay during a busy weekend for midtown. My room had a great view. Everything was clean. LOCATION is what sealed the deal for me in choosing Hyatt Centric Midtown. Everything is walking distance! Had a little hiccup with my reservation, but Joseph was a great help.
