The moment I walked in, I was greeted so kindly by Eric, the service concierge, who was incredible to me in every way. He was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond in welcoming me, greeting me each time he saw me, and represented the epitome of professionalism in this business. I will write specifically to his company to laud his hospitality. If you get the chance to meet him, you will be treated with such a magical personality that represents the kindness and dedication we need more of in this world. The location is great with tons of restaurants and downtown so near by. I wish I could have stayed longer. The rooms were clean, orderly, and spacious. It felt like being in a studio apartment with all the works: great light, balcony, comfortable bed, excellent work space, refrigerator, sink, stove, microwave, etc. This is a true gem. This specific hotel has been one of the best experiences I've had in any city I've visited.
We’ve have stayed here before and loved it. Unfortunately our recent stay was not as good. Our door was jamming each time we tried to open it from the outside, the TV had to be replaced because it was fuzzy and you couldn’t change the channel and the worst thing is there was no hot water. No one told us there was issues with hot water when we checked in. The manager said he would discount the room and was doing it while we were on the phone. He lied! As of now I do not have it. Anais and Bacari could have been more professional.
This was originally going to be a middle of the road review; however, Anais at the front desk helped me with a special room request part way through my stay. The hotel was under no obligation to accommodate me, but she was able to make it happen. That made my day and the rest of my stay, so I'm bumping this review up to a 5. Pros: Rooms are functional and the kitchens in the studios are very convenient and come with utensils and cookware. Hotel is a 3 minute walk to Marta. Free breakfast and wifi. There is a lot of value for the price point. Cons: Rooms on the lower levels facing the street can get noisy at night. Hotel is fairly old and the rooms, while clean, had peeling paint and discolored ceilings. AC sort of rattled all night.
Two of us had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. We stayed for seven days and found it to be quiet and a great location with close proximity to public transportation. We really enjoyed the breakfast choices and were especially pleased with the staff who helped at breakfast and at the front desk. Even though we did not drive, the valet was helpful as well. We will stay here in the future if we visit Atlanta again.
Stayed here for a vacation for my mother and I. The location was pretty decent, very close to a lot of things. The pictures of the hotel aren't quite up to the room you may get. Not sure if portions of the hotel are renovated, but my mother and I stayed on the 5th floor and our room was decent. The bathroom ceiling had plaster on it as if something was covered up. The pull out bed was gross. There were stains on the bed and on the covering of it. Instead of using the pull out bed, I just slept on the couch. Also, the room did not stay cool long enough. I would lower the temperature to 68 degrees at night and somehow I would wake up to it being set to 72. I know my mother and I both like to sleep cold, so I know she didn't change the temp. So not sure if the hotel is controlled by a main thermostat or if settings can be saved to the thermostat. The staff was very friendly and even compensated my mother due to there was no hot water for about a day and a half of our stay.
