The location of this hotel is very convenient to the airport, and they have a free shuttle to/from the hotel to the airport. Unfortunately, the ceiling in the room was leaking, and we were informed that there were no more rooms available to move (picture of the water holding in the ceiling before the leak). They did provide us with a few dollars back (which still wasn't appropriate for the inconvenience, but we didn't want to keep going back and forth). We just knew we wouldn't stay here again or refer anyone to stay here. When we spoke to one of the managers about the situation, she mentioned she was informed and didn't seem moved by our inconvenience. I guess she thought we are giving you money back, and that should be sufficient. Sometimes, an apology is just as important! I wouldn't recommend this hotel other than the convenience of the location to the airport.
Positives: Great location right near the airport with 24 hour shuttle service. Breakfast was good and they have coffee available all day from what I can tell. Staff is nice. Negatives: while the staff are polite and friendly, they really let me down. I asked for an infant cot before I booked, in the online booking, and after booking in a separate call to make sure we would have that available. We checked in late (as I informed them ahead of time we would) and there was no cot available. It was apparently locked up somewhere. Thankfully, we were traveling with a toddler and not an actual infant with whom cosleeping would have been dangerous, but we lost a lot of sleep having to share a bed with our toddler. The room was also about 82 degrees when we came in and smelled a bit off (nothing we couldn't adjust to). I was very disappointed with the infant bed situation, however, given that I booked a room at this hotel specifically because i was promised an infant bed. The lady who checked me out apologized very nicely, but it was a day late and a dollar short. Wifi also didn't work. And shuttle was difficult to find (though calling the hotel was helpful there - it's more midway's fault in my opinion)
Decent hotel. Needs some DEEP CLEANING! Baseboards, grout on the floors, markings in the elevator, cleaning and vacuuming the carpets, cleaning the a c units, cleaning the windows, wiping down the desk and chairs, cleaning the corners of the hotel room (spider webs, nets (during breakfast and in the room). The list goes on! I don’t understand why the cleaning of hotel rooms are lacking! Luckily I brought my wipes, I should get a check for the cleaning service. Lol
If you leave any itens in the room, consider your belongings as lost. They will make harder for you to get it back, also keep your reservation number, apparently that's the only way they use to confirm you were there. No phone number, last name or first name, or even the last 4 of your credit card that you used to pay for the room can be used. They just can't find you in their system. I've gave them the room number the dates and everything, And without the reservation number, you don't exist and your belongings are "lost" stolen for ever! Other than that we have no problem.
Our room was missing a refrigerator, but overall we are very satisfied. Great location and breakfast. Front desk is especially helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. They have a heated indoor pool and exercise room. Great views, we could see our car.
