Rooms were not ready at check in, ended up waiting an additional half an hour in the lobby with groceries that were warming up. Beds are very uncomfortable for anyone with any sort of back or neck issues. Remotes have to be aimed at t.v very specifically to get it to change channels or volume, ground level floor rooms are incredibly loud from through traffic. I work nights and sleep during the day, and today around 10am I was woken up by house keeping going into the rooms around me and cleaning up. It's not their fault, but I am just going down the list of why I hope to God my company doesn't put me in this hotel again next time I am here.

Pretty typical rooms for a Hampton Inn. Nice sized bathroom. Adequate tech charging oulets. Ice and vending areas were better than average. Charging for parking seems excessive on a surface lot but not really in the "city". No luggage carts to been seen during the entire stay, ever, which is a real problem and the front desk help was both unconcerned and didn't offer to help or get help. Good coffee in the morning.

Great location from Midway … takes 5 min to get to Midway for early morning flights. The person at front desk was very nice! But the room was clean but reeked of old stale smoke. There was an ashtray and matchbooks in the room, but was told it was indeed a non-smoking room? Go figure. And unfortunately I had noisy neighbors where the girl was moaning at 2:45am. Lol. Does the trick if ur in a pinch, otherwise try one of the other nearby hotels.

I am a loyal Hilton guest and have traveled enough in my lifetime to earn lifetime Diamond status. I love staying at Hamptons because the staff is usually down to earth and pleasant. Well NOT HERE! I often take the earliest flight I can to make sure I don't have the late afternoon delays and miss my meetings. I often arrive at a hotel before "check-in" time. This morning, I did that. When I asked if they had a room they said no. No problem happens all the time. I've even paid a fee to get into the room early. But when I asked how soon I could get a room, I received a time that was 5 hours from the current time. And when I asked "really". She responds, "well that is check in time." I was taken off guard because I have never heard that before. I usually hear, "well we have several rooms that look like people have left and as soon as they are cleaned, I will let you know." If I am really early they say something like, our cleaning staff doesn't arrive until _____ so it will be an hour or two. Completely acceptable. But as I currently stare at the front desk person for 5 hours, she has done nothing to get me into a room. Hilton, I won't jump ship but I will NEVER stay in this Hampton Inn again.

Our experience in room 310 was miserable. The room itself looks nice and fairly updated. But the air conditioning sounded like it was having seizures. The refrigerator would kick into a high sound mode every 20 minutes or so that ended with a nice ratatattat. And the room faces a very busy road with zero sound insulation. So all night we heard every car, every truck that hit the pothole outside, every motorcycle that was racing, and my favorite, the vehicles with the beeping reverse. The pillows sucked as well. We slept very little and will never stay at this hotel again. If you do stay here, request a room with an odd number so you are on the side not facing this road. If Hilton would like to refund me for this room, I will accept it. Room 310, in on 7/9, out on 7/10.
