I stayed here for 2 nights because my freaking Frontier flight was cancelled due to thunderstorm.. The hotel room is decent, clean and minimal. Hope they offer disposal slippers. Shower force is strong which is nice. I stayed at a room facing the inside road parking lot which is quiet. Mattress is good and pillow could be harder. I managed to sleep like a pig. It is a 2 star hotel and so don't expect lavish decoration and world class facility. It has a small gym and offered basic continental breakfast. There is also shuttle service to hotel which is only a few min to the airport. If you are looking for a reasonably price hotel near the airport, this is a good option.
Stay at the other hotels in the area. When we walked into the hotel, the lobby smelled like someone just smoked weed. The hallways smelled like cigarettes. It's supposed to be non-smoking. When mentioned to the front desk, response was, well you know this young generation and we will let security know. Whoever smoked weed in the lobby, must've done in front of the clerk. Pay a little extra and stay at one of the better hotels in the area. Never again at Sleep Inn Midway!!!
Do not stay here. If the traffic outside doesn't keep you awake, hearing EVERYONE ELSE IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING will keep you up. The first room we were given smelt of cat urine, we gagged when we walked in. Second room was so humid that the walls were wet to the touch. No wonder this location smells so strongly of mold. The washroom has zero privacy. We were told the room had 2 queen size beds, they are twin size. The remote control is sticky and filthy. The parking is $24/night. We paid $225/night (plus parking), only to arrive and find out their rates are only $110/night. Why are we being charged twice as much? They refused to adjust the price, and their cancellation policy is ridiculous. The bathroom sink (that isn't even located in the bathroom because it is too small), is blocked. The plunger to block the drain is stuck in the down position, and the lever on the back of the faucet to drain the sink has been removed, so we can't drain or use the sink. Do not stay here.
This has to be one of the most dirty hotels YUCK. The smell walking in the room mind 𤢠blowing can't describe it but you would want to throw up. The bed sheets had stainsĀ soon as you look at the bed. The bathroom had hair all over the floor. The pillows are so bad. Another thing is if you got breathing issues don't stay here because you can smell water damage in this building also.Ā The carpet in our room was damp. The hallway had smashed Cheetos on the floor. But let me share the best part the house keeper must really love her job because she had a bag of nacho cheese Doritos stand right in front of the TV look out the door way eatingš good. We came back down hallway she had a drink and the chips all in one hand fake cleaning with the other hand. This all happened around little after noon. If the manager wants to know who she is I'll let you know....her hair is a little bit pass her shoulders dark hair might be Hispanic. Overall bad rain weather but I made the best of my day with a smile one my face with my family ā¤ļø š
I had a very niche situation where I was stranded in Chicago with cancelled flights back to my destination for the entire day. Booked a room here very last minute, but an hour later was called by the airline who informed me of a flight they opened up that night (completely unexpected). I called the hotel immediately, canceled the room, and explained my situation. Expedia tried multiple times to reach out and help me, and they property manager refused to make any exceptions. I donāt write reviews often, but it was a little bit disheartening.
