The location was great but the hotel needs refreshing. For instance toilet seat was missing support and rolling bathroom door was so difficult to maneuver that it could be very hard to open. Bed didn’t give much support. Restaurant was uninviting. Whole place needs updating. While they advertise lowest price, I had to call to get the then offered rate. Checkin was easy and desk help were nice.
The location of this hotel is FANTASTIC it is near a lot of main attractions that are walking distance! However, I will say that at night with it being near a hospital, it can be a little noisy with the ambulances. My biggest issue that we had in our room was that our shower curtain would not remain fully open when you were in the shower. It kept closing in the front and back causing water to get everywhere. Also, our shower would not drain and the water faucet would not turn off when you were using the shower head. Which of course with the tub not draining meant the tub would fill quickly. We were only there for a night and did not see anyone the morning that we left as it was an early morning flight. But for me to be paying over $300 a night for a room, this was a bit annoying.
The only great thing in this hotel is the location and the front desk. I would not recommend staying here for such a high price. The entire hotel needs a renovation, the room looks so old and depressing. The toilet barely flush. The sliding doors in the bathroom were terrible. The pictures they were showing online was totally different that’s why we booked it. I don’t understand why they are still operating considering it’s a 3 star property but not worth it.
I can't believe I paid this much for such a horrible experience. I guess the positive, the location is nice and I was able to walk around and see many things and the valet staff were very nice. The bad, room 215. I'm used to ambient noise in a hotel but this one takes it to extremes. There is a sleep study across the hall and people were walking in and out all night slamming the doors, leaky overflow toilet, elevator, ice machine, and people running down the hall trying to access the pool deck. Additionally there is a sidewalk right behind the room and I woke up several times to someone vaping near my air conditioner and it pulling it into the room. The Whole Foods across the parking lot had trucks coming and going most of the night, the hospital next door had ambulances blasting their sirens regularly. Speaking of sleep, I got the worst night sleep I've ever had in a hotel, on a bed that is so uncomfortable and hard and with the noisiest paper sounding blankets that fill the room with sound as you move. Between the bed, vaping air conditioner and the noises I never stood a chance. Wyndham used to mean quality to me, not after this, I feel ripped off, I'd say this is the most expensive motel, but that would be an insult to motels.
Very disappointed in this hotel. Rooms are small, outdated and musty smelling. Ventilation was poor. Mildew and mold on the shower tile and Queen beds are full size beds with thin, horrible mattresses. Directly Across the street is a major construction project, from ground zero up , including large cranes. No mention of this on the website. I would not recommend this hotel.
