The hotel lobby is nice and inviting from the street, but the rooms leave something to be desired. Everything from the carpet, furniture to drapes are old and dated. The rooms are very basic and the lobby smelled weird. The staff were all very friendly though. The parking is $45 a night which is insane but there’s not many other options. The location is good, only a block from Bourbon and Canal. There’s no restaurant or bar. The vending machines were out of sodas. I would look for a better place to stay next time.
Like other reviews hotel is in a great location close to Bourbon Street and Canal Street hotel staff are BRILLIANT very polite and courteous. Given 4stars because our room had a problem with a leaking ceiling in bathroom but was moved within 1hr of complaint and the restaurant was closed for refurbishment given a list of local restaurants and takeaways after a long day sightseeing would have been nice to relax in bar and restaurant. Would we use this hotel again YES
Great room in a marvelous location. The security guard directed us to a late night eatery that turned out to be great. He was so helpful. The parking attendants were always smiling and friendly. Note the upper floors require going on two different elevators (One to eleventh floor then another to the twelfth floor).
What a gem of a hotel! Rooms are clean and comfortable! The staff are FIRST RATE...friendly and outgoing...they made our Honeymoon a memorable one! Make sure to introduce yourself to Ty the doorman, he is so friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable about the best places to eat and sights to see! He is a genuinely good person who we look forward to seeing him again when we return!
Had a really great experience. Great value for the money. Clean, well maintained, and updated bathrooms. Very important to me. Furniture is dated, but it didn’t bother me. Front desk staff are great. Would be happy to stay here again in the future.
