I recently went to this hotel and stayed for 1 night. 1st off the website never said you had to pay for parking and that as soon as you walk in you have to pay 50 dollars for incidentals.. Me and my family were very confused because all hotels we have ever been to make us pay after. When we got back to the hotel from an event we were at, it was about midnight.. my family was tired, over the day, and ready to sleep. We were ready to settle in when all of the sudden a mouse was running around our room. We went down to the front desk and the employees were very accommodating and gave us a different room to stay in for the night. In that room, it was okay until I was also hearing noises of movement in the middle of the night when everyone else was sleeping. I don’t know if there was a mouse but unfortunately, I was really uncomfortable with this stay. There were also stains on the blanket and the rooms were a little dirty and unwelcoming. Despite my stay, the location of the hotel is amazing because you can get to see the history of the city.
I would rate this hotel at 2.5 stars - the staff were really nice and allowed us to check in a few hours early, which was awesome! The location is also good. But the rooms felt a bit grimy and it certainly did not feel like a three star hotel. The halls and rooms honestly felt more like a motel. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend this Wyndham.
This hotel was in a very convenient location where I could walk most places. It was also easy for ride-share drivers to pick up/drop off. The staff I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. I had one issue with my tub not draining properly and when reported, it was taken care of promptly and left cleaner than I left it that morning. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
We spent three nights in this hotel. The service is at a high level and very friendly. We really felt very comfortable here from the first day. The hotel is located near the historic district, with many restaurants and shops. The rooms are very clean and cleaned every day. The bed was very comfortable. The only problem is the old air conditioning which is very noisy. During the day it is not a problem, but at night it is very disturbing. However, we will come back here next time.
Great location and friendly staff. That's about it. It was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. I mean absolutely filthy. There were fingerprints from the previous guest(s) CAKED on walls, lightswitches, and desk lamps. There was grime and hair throughout the desk and lamp. Windows were filthy. They looked like they've never been washed. Dirt collected around the base of walls, windows, and doorways. I'm surprised because I've had mostly positive experiences with the Wyndham brand. This is one hotel, however, I will not be returning to.
