Pros: The hotel is beautiful! We went to celebrate our anniversary and I thought it was such a nice touch that we had champagne waiting in our room. The room itself I thought would be on the smaller side, but it was actually quite large. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the service was wonderful! Cons: We tried out the hotel restaurant. The live music was great and I really enjoyed it, but when it came to the food, it was kind of questionable. My husband and I got the burgers and the meat definitely did not seem thoroughly cooked. I know I should have said something, but didn’t know if it would be worth it. My husband ate his burger - so I guess maybe it was just me 🤷🏻♀️. Anyways, overall it was pretty pricy for the food, so probably will try another place if we return.
OH MY GOSH! The hotel is great, and the rooms are clean and cutely decorated. I left my laptop (as I thought I was going to work- and did not have time to do so) and I left my laptop in the safe. The hotel was prompt, and they kept my laptop safe with the manager. I was able to get it this morning! Great location as the hotel is extremely close to shopping and to the Cynthia Woodlands Pavillion - in case you want to check out a concert! Great service!
We decided to stay here after confirming they could accommodate both a baby and dogs for a last minute reservation. Upon our arrival, the excellent customer service began with valet and continued through to the front desk. The staff working the night shift on July 10th were so great in quickly getting our family unloaded, checked in and settled with our luggage/room requests being delivered shortly after. We were looking for a spacious suite and the the gentleman at the front desk recommended his favorite room layout and we were not disappointed! After staying at many luxury hotels across the world, this particular room exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean and the layout was so fun and spacious to comfortably fit our family. The oversized bathroom with the needed amenities, separate bedroom and patio facing market street were a few of our highlights. We also appreciated the organic BeKind toiletries and empty fridge to store our baby’s meals. Since we arrived late, having the A/C already on and room cooled, was also very much appreciated! For a last minute need, we are so happy we stumbled upon this gem of a hotel! We look forward to returning - The Tangs
If you are looking for walking distance to the venue, this hotel is across the street from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion-literally minutes to the front entry gate. Caution, you will hear the loud concert music if your rooms face the pavilion, so be sure to ask for rooms away from that if you don’t want to hear it as loud. The hotel is in the market center where many good casual and fine dining choices surround, it also within walking distance. A movie theatre is steps away. Great shopping to pass the time a few hours on foot. The Woodlands Mall is about a 10-15 minute walk or 3-4 minute drive. There is street parking, some metered, and a few 2-3 floor free parking garages. You can self-park right across the street from the hotel at no charge or have valet parking. As for the condition of the hotel, it is very clean. There are a few things that need some attention that shouldn’t, given the nightly peak rate of $380. A bit of wear and tear on the furniture, scratched and peeling finishes. The sofa bed fabric has a musty smell. There are several USB chargers throughout. There is a mini fridge. There is no microwave. No kitchenette. The coffee pot is a pod type. There is no complimentary coffee bar. Starbucks is across the street. We had to ask for more towels to accommodate 4 guests because there were only 2 sets. Overall I would not return to pay these rates for the condition I found the rooms to be in. Check in time is unacceptably late (4pm).
Awesome place to stay! Essie from front desk was super nice and took the time to inform me on best places around for all categories. Just wish the gym equipment was more up to date but nonetheless they get the job done.
